I didn't have fresh basil, so I used dried -- 1/2 tsp. I also added 1-1/2 tsps. fresh, finely minced parsley. Delicious. Like another viewer, I found that 7 minutes was exactly right.

I doubled the recipe and used half wax beans and half greens beans. I did not double the basil though and wish that I had. Omitted the celery. Seven minutes was perfect. Tender but still crisp.

Most excellent. I put butter on corn, why not green beans too! It really helped give green beans a little kick. I used frozen green beans instead of fresh because that is what I had on hand. I am sure the fresh would have provided a better texture. The flavor was awesome!
