This is a good recipe for hummus, but is even better when you toast the sesame seeds in a dry skillet until they pop, puree with the olive oil to make a drizzly paste, then add the rest of the stuff. I like to coat the top with olive oil and serve with toasted pita. Yummy! And good for you.
I felt the garlic was a bit strong, even though I love garlic. I added lemon juice and more bean juice as I blended because is seemed very thick to me. Next time I will add half the garlic and continue to use lemon juice to gain the texture I like...overall, it is a good recipe though.
This is an excellent recipe for basic hummus. It's very easy to add other ingredients if you want to try different flavors.
I always thought hummus was hard to make, so I never tried to make it until now. This recipe is so easy & it taste great. I multiplied this recipe by 4 & I had very little left over.
This is super quick and easy, and great for dipping veggies in. I reduced the oil to 1 tbsp. and used 4 cloves of garlic.
