Fantastic recipe! Followed it to a T and impressed the in-laws, she insisted I make some more and bring it to her salon for the other ladies. :) The only thing is that it is difficult to get those large crepes. Mine end up being pancake sized, but we just end up rolling them into cannolis or folding them over like an omlette. Delicious!

Its been years since I made crepes and I was very pleased with how these turned out. I made a filling of fresh bing cherries and almond and rum extracts, and topped the crepes with whipped cream and toasted almonds. I have some crepes left over and am looking forward to trying them with different fillings.

Added some vanilla for more taste. However, crepes were a bit tough. Will try again by using more milk to see if they will thin down and have the crepe like texture.

This was quite simple and delicious. I used egg beaters and skim milk, and added 2 tbsp extra water, 1 tsp vanilla, and 2 tbsp cocoa powder. These were wonderful served with peanut butter and drizzled with chocolate syrup. I will definitely make these again!

After three different failed recipes, this one was PERFECT! We used our Villaware crepemaker, which made the whole process super easy. The consistancy and flavor of the batter was just right. I did mix the eggs with the wet ingredients before adding the dry. Mixed together strawberry cream cheese and cottage cheese for filling. Yummy. My husband is in breakfast heaven.

Perfect proportions and everything, I just mixed dry with dry, and then added the eggs at the end. This makes it not turn out so lumpy.

This is a solid recipe that says it all in the name - BASIC crepes. It's not original or overly exciting, but it is a perfect starting point. For some zest in the crepe itself, you can add almond or lemon extract, or cinnamon, pumpkin spice, or allspice for a sweeter crepe, or a good, hard cheese like Parmesan, or hot sauce, or any number of spices for a savory crepe. When I want crepes, this is my starting point, and from there, the only limit is my imagination.

This was quick and easy. I followed the directions exactly and it came out just fine. I used strawbery and grape jam as the fillings. The only thing I will do next time is add vanilla as another reviewer mentioned.

Great recipe, especially after reading the suggestion to mix the wet ingredients first and then sift the dry ingredients into the wet mixture as you whisk.

Added 1 tbsp of white sugar, 1/2 tsp of vanilla extractand a 1/4 tsp of tea and milk masala (mix of aniseed, cinnamon, cardamon, black pepper, dry ginger, cardamom green and cloves). Will add more of the masala next time. Realized that I didn't need to add butter to my non-stick pan b/w each batch...they contain butter in them already so you can skip this step (and the calories too).
