Perfect with carrot cake. I used 1t spoon pure vanilla extract & 1T Four Roses Bourbon. Goodness!!!!

It's good, I made it to the T, but I think it needs some tweaking, maybe a little less icing sugar and the addition of a bit of milk to make it taste less 'icing-sugar-y'. Maybe also a little salt to balance the sweetness. The end result was good enough to make again.

I made this frosting for my homemade brownies and it was a hit with everyone. I personally don't like frosting normally, but this one was still very good. I did use slightly less sugar, a personal preference, but it didn't affect the texture at all. People who had issues with it being too thin may have been using fake butter (e.g. Imperial) which is more vegetable oil and much softer at room temperature. Be sure to use real butter (which is cream based) when you make this and you should get a perfect consistency.

I thought this was delicious and did well for frosting chocolate cupcakes. I did think however, that the cream cheese taste wasn't pronounced but I was the only one :)
