Very easy to put together and tastes great! And, while this is very "basic", it's a wonderful base for add-ins to make it suite your tastes. I used half lean ground beef and half sausage. I skipped the salt and sauteed some onion. pepper and garlic along with the sausage and beef. I used pre-made pizza dough and "Pasta/Pizza" sauce from this site then topped the whole thing off with some sliced pepperoni to really make this extra "meaty". Excellent for pizza night!

I chopped onion in the beef and added garlic & parsley. It was so yum. The 2nd time I added green bell pepper too.

We loved this. Especially my son. I followed the recipe but added some cheddar cheese, garlic powder & parsley for added flavor. I will make this again!

This may sound silly, but I never thought of using ground beef on a pizza. This pizza turned out pretty good for my taste buds, my dad found he liked it way more than I did. I just felt the beef was lacking seasonings otherwise I enjoyed it. I will make again and try to spice up the ground beef a bit more with my favourite herbs/spices. I also used cheddar cheese cause I like it more than Mozzarella on my pizza. I sauteed some onions and bell peppers with the ground beef. I made my own pizza dough using Garlic Lover's Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine (recipe on this site) I made the crust by hand, see my review on how to do it. This was different but good. Will definitely make again and experiment with seasoning the ground beef mix. Thanks for sharing.

Very good pizza. I used some McCormick hamburger grill seasoning and some dried minced onion when I cooked the meat, so I left out the salt and added celery seed instead of celery salt. I already had pizza dough made so I used that and made pizza sauce III. This pizza was quite good and we enjoyed it. I did add a little shredded American/Cheddar Jack blend cheese too so it would be more like a cheeseburger.

My husband was very skeptic about this for a pizza topping but ended up really liking it. For the pizza dough we used the one found on this site, pizza dough I. We also changed a few other things, we added green peppers and onions. For the cheese we used 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1 cup cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Really turned out nice.

I followed recipe pretty closely, except for I added a few things - added onion to the beef mixture when browning, sprinkled real bacon pieces over top of the beef, and sprinkled a little bit of cheddar cheese over the mozza (just for looks). I used the tip (from AllRecipes tips and advice section on pizza) to brush the crust with olive oil part way through cooking to brown the crust and give it some flavor. The final result was - my teenagers loved it but my husband says the meat mixture was missing something for taste (but he is getting over a cold so that could be just him). The bacon pieces are a keeper, I'll definitely do that next time (just make sure if you're doing this that you add half the cheese, sprinkle the bacon pieces on, then add the other half over top, so they don't burn). Oh, and I did prebrown the crust too. Thanks for sharing - will make again.
