Barley Waldorf Salad

INGREDIENTS
1 cup quick-cooking barley
2 large tart apples, chopped
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 1/2 teaspoons sugar

DIRECTIONS
Cook barley according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water. In a small serving bowl, combine barley, apples, walnuts, raisins, cream, mayonnaise and sugar. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

We didn't care for this salad. The mayo taste was too strong. Adding the cinnamon just confused my taste buds even more.

What a truly wonderful salad!! I was very impressed with how yummy it is. I did add about 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon just because I thought it would be a good addition. I will definitely be making this one again and again. Thanks for the recipe
