I cooked my pork shoulder whole for about 5 hours and then shredded it and put it back in the sauce to rewarm. I also used 1 cup BBQ and 1 cup Ketchup. This was wonderful and is my new pulled pork recipe!

My family loves this recipe. I use boneless pork tenderloin rather than pork shoulder in the slow cooker.

Yummy! I use pork tenderloin which really cuts down on the fat and it comes out so tender and delicious. I also substitute BBQ sauce for half of the ketchup called for and didn't use the brown sugar since we like it spicer versus sweeter. Thanks for sharing!

My husband said "this is the best thing to come out of that crockpot!" We had it for Super Bowl Sunday - served on Kaiser rolls and it was absolutely delicious. It's perfectly spiced - not overwhelming like so many commercial pulled pork and not overly sweet. I served it with cole slaw on the side - YUM!!! This is a huge keeper!!

I have made this recipe several times and it has been awesome both times. I put it on a hamburger bun with some mustard and fresh tomato. I think you could sell this on the street corner and make a LOT of money...

yum yum yum yum! I LOVE me some bbq pork. I pulled the pork after it was cooked and then let it simmer in the sauce for another hour or so. I also did 1 cup of ketchup, 1 cup of bbq sauce (bulls eye) I just LOVE this recipe.

Great recipe, but the sauce was kind of thin. Next time, I may add some corn starch to thicken at the end. I thew in a teaspoon of cumin and apple cider vinegar served on onion kaiser rolls. Big hit for the game!

I've been using Allrecipes for years but never became a member. This recipe, however, is so yummy I joined Allrecipes so I could tell everyone else how good it is! I've made it numerous times now. Sometimes I didn't have enough ketchup so I substituted bottled barbecue sauce for what I lacked. Most of the time I substituted dried onions for the fresh for lack of time. Freezes well. We serve it on toasted buns with cheese and lettuce. Sometimes even in fried corn tortillas as taco filling. YUM!!

Absolutely delicious -- I'd give it more stars if I could! My entire family absolutely loved this (how rare is that!) and I will certainly make again. The only change I made was substituted 1 cup barbeque sauce for 1 cup ketchup.

Instead of pork shoulder, I used 3 3/4 lbs. of boneless country spare ribs and cooked them in the sauce for 2 1/2 hours. Then I removed the meat from the pot and shredded it with two forks. I put the meat back in the sauce and reheated it. As suggested I used 1 c. ketchup and 1 c. barbeque sauce. This was delicious. Probably the best I've ever made.

This was pretty good. The cut of pork kind of grossed me out - I didn't really like it. I think I will try shredding a tenderloin or something next time and slow cooking that in the sauce.

A definite 5 stars! We loved it. I didn’t feel like having it on buns so we had it on noodles but that did not work to well, we were all chasing our noodles in our plate. Maybe we could try it on rice. I have lots of leftovers so I will be making it on buns tonight. Thanks a bunch Kimber.

I was a little prepared not to like this recipe very much, but it was a real surprise! I did the same as the previous reviewer and used part bbq sauce and adjusted the ketchup accordingly. Very tender and tasty! The only thing I might change next time is to either make less sauce or cook more meat.

I used 1/2 cup BBQ sauce and reduced ketchup by that much. It turned out delicious. When tender, I shredded all the meat. Great for sandwiches, with cheese melted on top!

Great flavor! I used very lean pork and it turned out a little too dry for my husband's taste. I'll use a fattier piece of meat next time. I served it with sourdough brown-and-serve rolls and fruit salad and my family wolfed it down. Will make again. Thanks!
