Boneless, simmering short ribs broiled then thrown in the oven. Easy as 1-2-3. Hubby LOVES this dish and whines when I don't make it. If you like LOTS of sauce double the liquid amounts. Great for indoor cooking nights....

'This recipe takes no time to prepare and results in the most delicious, fall-off-the-bone short ribs,' writes Lamya Asiff of Delburne, Alberta. 'The longer you cook them, the better they get!' TIP: 'Serve them on a bed of rice,' Lamya suggests.

I'VE SHARED this recipe with many friends who also cook for two. We all agree - small recipes are hard to find! This dish remains one of my favorites since it takes little effort to prepare and is so tasty. Plus, if you are serving a larger group, it is easy to double. -Margery Bryan, Royal City, Washington

Short ribs boiled, then broiled and basted with a molasses, mustard and ketchup sauce. Boiling the ribs first makes them so tender and gets rid of a lot of the fat.

Browned short ribs are simmered for about 2 hours with onions, pineapple, honey, and chili sauce. Vinegar could be added for a sweet-and-sour variation.

This is a easy way to make Korean BBQ. You can also substitute chicken breast or sliced rib-eye for the short ribs. If you use chicken or rib-eye, you must add thinly sliced green onion tops.

Beef short ribs and onions slow cooked in a spicy red wine sauce. Goes great over wide egg noodles.

Mention pork spareribs to any Southerner, and barbecue will almost always come to mind. This recipe is a favorite with my family. Who don't you try it and see if it doesn't become one of your family's favorites?
