Really good, just like the beef you get at Sonny's. I think next time i may double up on the liquid smoke.

This was great! I especially loved the barbeque sauce. Next time, I'm going to try a brisket or an arm roast.

I love this recipe. I follow it exactly, except for two things. I usually have to add a bit of cornstarch to the sauce to thicken it, before I pull apart the meat. And second, if I'm using this to make barbecue sandwiches, I add a bit of mayo to the mix at the end. Makes it very creamy. Yummm!

I've made this twice in the past 2 weeks (b/c my husband begged me to make it again) and we loved it both times. However 1st time I made it I followed recommendations of reviewer "Ash" and cooked it in beef broth, then added the sauce later. It was good, but I used approx 2 lbs London Broil and it definately needed to cook longer than the suggested 5 hours of her review. Yesterday I made this again and followed the recipe EXACTLY (except again used 2 lbs London Broil) and this turned out wonderful. Oh, I didn't have any liquid smoke so omitted that as well. It did cook for 8-9 hours and it was great.

Yuck this was horrible. The sauce is runny, unless you have the whole 10 hours to cook this.

The beef came out so tender and juicy. My boyfriend loved it as is, but I thought the sauce was a little too "tomato-y". I may opt to use a bottle of my favorite bbq sauce next time. I did have to skim off some fat prior to serving, but not a hassel. Thanks for the recipe.

The sauce was a little vinegar-y, and mine DEFINITELY didn't need to cook for 10 hours, 8 was PLENTY!

This is a great recipe to serve on hamburger buns as barbecue sandwiches. So tender, and re-heats great! 2 thumbs up.

I have made this a few times for family gatherings and once for my son's birthday party and it has always been a huge hit and goes REALLY fast. We never have leftovers when I make this. The meat is moist and juicy and there's just the right amount of sauce. I think the ingredients are really great, but I prefer my BBQ sauce to have a little bit of a bite to it so I added 1/2 tp of chili molido powder to it.

Very Very good taste, but sauce ended up being way too runny. Made the buns we put it on soggy.

Eeeeew. Made this one in the slow cooker and had it cooking on low all day. It smelled delicious, but tasted terrible. The sauce was all watery (even after continued cooking with the lid off), and didn't really taste like BBQ to me - more like catsup with sugar. Yuck.

This recipe is a keeper. The only thing I did differently was add about 1/2 cup of bbq sauce. The meat is so tender and tasty, and the sauce is delicious. I'll definitely be making this one again.

Made these for my daughters graduation. Used deer roasts, lots of them, had a large cooker full and there was absolutly NONE left over to our dismay. Even those who wouldn't touch deer did because of all the raving. This is definantly a keeper. Only change was I had no mustard, otherwise followed the recipe. Thank you!! Would rate higher if I could.
