10 stars, a million, oh my god these were soooo good. I will never use another bbq sauce on ribs. Oh my god, seriously, SO good. I did boil my ribs for the 1st part of the cook time, but I think that's a personal preference thing. It's the sauce that makes these ribs, and wow, it makes them GOOD!! (And I don't even like ribs!!)

I made these over the weekend and the sauce is outstanding. I followed the recipe exactly. For those wondering about baking vs boiling - I cooked just as the recipe states and the meat was literally falling off the bone. I covered them with some of the sauce and let them sit for an hour. Then onto the grill. I will make the sauce again and use it on chicken and pork too. It is really that delicious. As a side, I really never cared for the taste of rum and was a little hesitant but it truly is worth the try - You will not be sorry!

Unbelievably good. Didn't have chili sauce so substituted Asian Black Bean Chili Paste (they were painfully spicy but we loved it). The only thing I would do differently is use a little less rum because I did feel like I could taste it although my husband did not. I continuously brushed the ribs before and during baking and think that was critical for the delicous coating. Can't wait to try and grill it. Thanks for the recipe!

really really good. i didn't have "chile sauce" so i used an extra 1/4 cup of katchup and added 1 tbls of chili powder like someone else suggested. i used regular mustard also. can't beat it. others said something about using a rub, not necessary.

Sauce and ribs were ok. If I were to make this again, I would add more brown sugar to the recipe so that it has a better balance of the sweet and the spicy. I would also boil the ribs so that they are more tender, not bake them for the 1.5 hours.

Delicious! My dinner guests all thought these were the best ever. I boiled the ribs for a little over an hour and let them sit in the marinade for about four hours before grilling them on our gas grill. Since they were already cooked, they were done in no time. Definitely will do them again.

My husband and I made these for the 4th. He loved them! We used 1/4 cup of the Rooster Hot Sauce. I am so glad that I only used 1/4 cup because any more would have been overkill. My husband told me twice that they were really good ribs. Something that he never does. The sauce was a wonderful sweet and spicy sauce. All in all this was the best meat recipe from this website or anyother site that we have ever made! Thank you so much for sharing:)

One word.....YUM!!!!! This recipe is the best. It was a hit with everyone, including little ones. Great finger-licking ribs with the best sauce!! Once you make this, you will not want to ever buy bottled again or make any other recipe.

I used the same basic ingredients and it comes out amazing. I used country style ribs (boneless), boil the meat until it is soft but still holds its shape (around an hour). Then I marinate in the sauce for a day and cook it the next day until it is a bit charred in places. This is a winner everytime. The sauce is the key and I think will go with just about any type of pork!

These ribs are awesome, I boiled them then put in the suace overnight in a disposable aluminum pan. Put them on grill over low heat for about 3 hours, then grilled for 5 minutes each side. Recipe is freinds and family favorite. Sauce is awesome, THANK YOU

Very good! I think the 1 1/2 hour baking time was too long because the ribs were a bit dry, but otherwise delicious! I omitted the rum and used red curry paste instead of the chili sauce because that's what I had on hand. I will definitely make this again!!

This is a GREAT recipe. I'm not much of a rib eater(husband is), but I really liked these! I used baby back ribs and coconut rum - although I only used about 3/4 of the amount of rum called for. I followed everything else in the recipe. The best part is getting all your work (the cooking!) done in advance for convenience on BBQ day! Thanks for the great recipe!
