OH MY!!!! Excellent recipe!!!........I wanted to point out that CHILE sauce is MUCH different than CHILI sauce. For those who comment that this is too sweet, I am guessing you bought CHILI sauce. The correct sauce to use is CHILEEEEEE (remember the "E"). You will find it in the "Mexican Food" area of your grocery store. I was able to choose from mild or hot. I chose "mild" because my kids and their taste.......I followed the recipe exactly for the sauce except I doubled it! It is perfectly sweet/salty/spicy, better than my other homemade BBQ sauce by FAR!.......I boiled the ribs from frozen for an hour. I poured liquid smoke, kosher salt and favorite spices in the boil water to give the meat an infused flavor.......After the boil, I removed ribs from water and saturated them with the sauce to marinate for a few hours.......Then, I baked for an hour at 350 degrees finishing with 5 minutes under the broiler. UNBELIEVABLY TENDER! Thank you for such an amazing recipe!

Very good and yummy. Also, boiled ribs for an hour night before, let cool down, and marinated in the recipe and grilled the next night. yummy yummy.

OH MY GOODNESS! hands down, the BEST ribs I've ever had. I, like many, just boiled the ribs for an hour. After I marinated them and broiled after, basting 3 times during broiling. I had no chile sauce, so I just added ketchup, vinegar, crushed cloves and cinnamon as a substitute. I will make this 100 times over! Thanks for the great recipe!

I couldn't fit all the ribs in the oven (I think I did the recipe times 5, seriously), so I ended up bioling the rest. Not sure which ones were boiled or which ones were baked, but they all pretty much had the same chewy texture. I think next time I will bake them at a lower temp. for a longer time (like all other recipes call for) to see if I get a more tender result. Other than that, the SAUCE WAS AMAZING!

I just made these ribs for a family picnic and they were the first thing to go! They were wonderful! I cooked them as instructed the day before. I never liked the idea of boiling meat, it cooks the flavor out of it. I've always done my ribs in the oven like this. Make sure you take off the "membrane" from the back of the ribs first. The easiest way to do this is lifting it a little with a knife, then grabbing it with a paper towel and pulling it off. I did the sauce just as listed, but the soy sauce I use is "lite soy", I don't think it made a difference. I let the ribs marinate in a large plastic bag over night, turning them every now and then, until time to cook. I received so many compliments, and people asked for the recipe. Thank you for the recipe - there's no need for us to use any other!!

Followed the recipe exactly and they turned out awesome. I saved the marinade and coated the ribs and turned them over until they were good and sticky.

This was awesome! I only had time to marinade the recipe for 4 hours, and the meat was bursting with flavor. I will use this over and over.

A little too sweet for me but they came out great as far as falling off the bone. I will definitely try this recipe again but maybe cut back a little bit on the sweetness and add something to up the spice.

AWESOME!! My grill was not working, so I finished them under the broiler (turned every few minutes and put more sauce on). This sauce is equally as good on salmon.

These were excellent. I used red hot instead of chili sauce, just a few tablespoons. They were loved by all.

I followed the recipe to a tee. The only thing I changed was that I boiled the ribs for about an hour before I set them to marinate overnight. Then while grilling I soaked them with bbq sauce Simply Fantastic!! Thank you.

This was one of the best tasting ribs we've eaten in a long time! The sauce was the best! I made it exactly like the recipe stated, baked in the oven because it was the easiest way to cook with less clean up. Other than the cooking and marinating time involved this is a very easy recipe to make. My family loved it, especially my picky teenage son. I will definitely make again!
