Original Recipe Yield 4 to 6 servings
 

Ingredients

  • 2 (15 ounce) cans butter beans, rinsed and drained
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3 bacon strips, diced

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the beans, brown sugar, ketchup and onion. Transfer to a greased 1-1/2-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with bacon. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours.
