This was just AMAZING! I was a little thrown off by the fact that you don't set the whole thing on fire, but decided to try it anyway. I needed a quick dessert I could serve to my father's business associates, and this fit the bill. I used Smart Balance instead of butter to cut the calories, and none of our guests liked walnuts, so I left those out as well. I served it with a generous heaping of *good* vanilla ice cream (using a cheap brand really diminishes the dish), and everyone loved it.
I tried this again a few weeks later over French toast, and my husband couldn't get enough of it. GREAT RECIPE! Thanks!!!
