Holy COW this stuff is good! I also used rum extract, as I didn't have any rum, but WOW this is yummy! I'll definitely be adding this to my dessert repertoire!

This is absolutely DELICIOUS!! I had some left over bananas and wanted to use them up and this was the PERFECT recipe. Do not change a thing with this recipe. I can't wait to make it for some friends at our dinner night.

I highly recommend making this for your next dinner party. Everyone is so impressed and it is SUPER easy to make. The only problem is I cannot stop making it days after the company is left! Not good for your New Year's resolutions but fabulously sinful!

I made this tonight. Excellent. Not too sweet. Slowly heated the sugar/rum/bananas to the perfect texture, bananas still firm. Easy to prepare.

This deserves more than 5 stars, it's sooo good! Very impressive with very little prep involved. Used Malibu coconut rum with great results. Thank you for posting this recipe!

This sounded so interesting, I gave it a try even though I had some reservations, ...I expected the cooked bananas to bring up a gag reflex, cause usually I can't eat even slightly soft bananas...but this is such a great, fast, easy way to use up overripe bananas, when you're just sick of banana bread. I used this recipe as a guide, but seriously lightened it up. I used about 1/2 TB of butter, I packed TB of brown sugar, 2 bananas, 1 ts vanilla. No cinnamon, walnuts, or rum. I really want to try it with the rum. This is so great with so many things...I know I wouldn't like it with ice cream cause I dislike ice cream( I know I'm weird) but with plain yogurt...yum! It's actually great with bread, and I'm sure pancakes too...it was amazing with my oatmeal. I actually cooked it on high for a good 3-5 mins so the sugars could caramelize...and after taking the bananas out, I swirled the hot pan with water to get all the sugar left over, and pured that over as a syrup on the bananas. I'm sure it must be mind-boggling delicious the original way, but I was making this for breakfast and wanted it lighter. Can't imagine adding anymore sugar or butter...perfect the way I made it:) 2out of 3 family members liked...one refused to touch it after seeing it was cooked bananas...still consider that a success.

I just made this about 30 minutes ago. WOW! Incredible dessert. The wife is impressed (and that doesn't happen easily!). It says in the recipe 20 minutes time but, really, 10 minutes - tops. Try this one!

This was made as apart of a themed "Cajun-Style" potluck dinner. AWESOME. Even anti-banana people can appreciate this delicious dessert. YUMMO! Glad we tried it!

made it for my boyfriend and his roommates. I used rum extract instead of real rum (because I'm lazy and didn't feel like making an extra trip to the liquor store), and not nuts because I like my foster to be smooth. Very nice taste, great texture. I'm sure the nuts would have made it taste great as well!
