I make this salad often, but I mix in seedless Grape instead of Bananas. More refreshing for summer...

Doesn't need nuts. People gobbled it up and are requesting this recipe.

We had the younger kids in our scouting group make this and it was a HUGE hit. We've made it at home several times since.

I had this once years ago and never got the recipe. Have been looking for it ever since. They made it in layers and it looked very pretty and tasted even better. I'm not a cherry pie lover but it sure was delicious in the salad. Thanks for posting.

I have made this for church potlucks for years. I always add a drizzle of chocolate so that it looks more like a melted banana split. I have requests for it all the time. Enjoy

This is absolutely wonderful. It makes a big batch, but it doesn't last long in our house at all! I will make this many times.

This was so good! The only thing I did different was reduced the condensed sweet milk to 2 tablespoons. It was even better the next day. Super easy and inexpensive.

This was good. It is sweet so I don't think I would consider this a fruit salad. It is definately dessert. The only change I made was that I used strawberry filling because we don't like cherry and I used slivered almonds. I will make this again but serve it as dessert not fruit salad.

This was easy, looked very pretty, but it didn't wow me. My guests enjoyed it but again, were not wowed by this. I added some pecans & sprinkled coconut over it & still, no wow! sorry =(

I make a similiar version, but I add 1/2 cup shredded flaked coconut & 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries. I then garnish with some chopped pecans, coconut and sliced strawberries. Very tasty and very easy salad (or dessert)

This recipe is very easy to make. The whipped cream and condensed milk give it a rich texture. It will become one of our favorite recipes.bb
