INGREDIENTS
3 cups cold milk
1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 medium firm banana, sliced
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup chopped pecans
additional sliced strawberries and bananas (optional)

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Add banana, strawberries and pineapple; transfer to a serving bowl. Dollop with whipped topping. Drizzle with chocolate syrup; sprinkle with pecans. Top with strawberries and bananas if desired.

I made as directed and this was good - my kids liked it - It does taste like banana split . . . in pudding form. I would add more cool whip to the pudding next time but it was a good recipe. :)

I was really disappointed with this. It really had no flavor. I accidently used unsweetend pineapple, but I don't think that was the problem. If I try it again I will use another flavor of pudding - maybe using cheesecake flavored pudding would help.
