I probably wouldn't make these again. Not sure what I was expecting, but they weren't our favorite.

Absolutely delicious. I made them for my parents, and my dad said these were the best pancakes he's ever had.

For Valentine's Day, I was looking for a recipe to make something a little different. I do not claim to be a chef by any means so I wanted something simple that would still taste good. I thought this recipe was very easy to follow and it was a hit! I loved the pancakes and will continue to make them. I did follow a couple of other suggestions and I added 1 teaspoon of vanilla and a pinch of cinnamon.

Wow!! Fluffy, moist, and tasty! Even my two year old who doesn't like pancakes ate a whole one! I don't think I'd buy Aunt Jemima again! Thank you and I know this recipe is a keeper!

Absolutely delicious. I used whole wheat flour and buttermilk instead of milk (and 1/2 tsp. baking soda to partially compensate for the acidity). ONLY USED HALF OF THE OIL! The secret is to mix VERY lightly, as little as you can, then not mix again, for the fluffiest pancakes. These did not even need syrup!

I took some of the suggestions named here and used 2 T. of applesauce for the oil, 1 tsp of vanilla, and then I decided to add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. of apple pie spices. I also used those small brown bananas instead of the yellow ones, they are more dense and less sweet than the yellow variety (use 3 small for 1 yellow big). They turned out fantastic! What a treat! I topped them off with homemade all-day apple butter and they were a nice sweet way to start my morning! Thanks for the recipe!

These were ok, but not as good as they could have been. I've had much better banana pancakes at dinners. The amount of milk in the recipe made them come out too thick. I ended up added at least an extra cup of milk and they were much better. After making the first pancake, I also added vanilla and some peanut butter and thought it made them better.

delicious, with a few touch-ups. My BF loved these for his b-day and proposed to me that day... I attribute it to the pancakes. I used 2 bananas, one I smashed in a baggie and put into the batter, the other I sliced and put into the pancakes right after I poured the batter into the pan. Putting the pancakes right on the griddle brought out an incredible flavor. I also sifted the dry ingredients before mixing with the wet. I also added carmalized walnuts on top... superb! Incredibly sweet with the walnuts, but perfectly sweet without.

These pancakes were terrible. I don't know what I did but they were bland and I could barely taste the banana in them. I didn't like it at all.

I don't know WHAT I did wrong with this recipe, but these pancakes were impossible to flip over without a total mess. I kept the heat on medium (or lower), and still they burnt quickly but were too runny to flip over. The bits I was able to cook decently DID taste good, but they were unrecognizable as pancakes.
