I love these pancakes! I make them whith whole wheat flour instead of white, because that's what we eat, and it's so delicious. I love them with just butter on them. YUM!

These were awesome pancakes! I added the vanilla like several other vanilla's and then tossed in some chopped walnuts and a couple of chocolate chips into each pancake too. DELICIOUS!

Very moist and flavorful pancakes! They turned out a little too moist and heavy for me, but the taste was still great - will make again and try to improve the texture.

These were by far the best pancakes EVER! Used a tsp of vanilla and a little pumpkin pie spice on a low to medium heat griddle. Perfect with lovely bits of banana inside!

These are very good . . . I also add about 1/2 tsp of vanilla and a touch of pumpkin pie spice. I am making these for my one year old, and also use applesauce instead of oil and make with mostly whole wheat flour. These are very very good. I generally use only 1 banana which makes them less mushy and easier for him to eat. Thanks!

These were ok. I agree with the other reviewers that they were mushy. Next time I'll do them with only one banana

I use this base everytime I make banana pancakes now. It's great as is or if you want to get more nutrition out of them...you can always sub in half of the flour for whatever you want- (I doubled the recipe so I used) 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour and 1/4 cup of ground flax and 1/4 cup of wheat bran. You can also sub in different things for the milk. I used 1/2 milk and 1/2 apple juice. I also added in vanilla and nutmeg and they were awesome. Great recipe. Great banana flavour!

I made this recipe on a rainy Sunday morning and my boyfriend, who hates bananas, LOVED them. Make sure you keep the heat low so they brown and cook through inside the pancake. I also added 1/2 tsp of vanilla like other reviews suggested. Additionally, I subbed applesauce for the vegetable oil and I think they were fine.

Instead of using all white flour, I used a 1/2 cup of white and a 1/2 cup of whole wheat. I substituted natural applesauce for the oil, and it was fantastic! These turned out great. I slathered some strawberry/raspberry preserves on mine, which I would highly recommend.

Great banana flavor. Served with maple syrup and toasted pecans. The pancakes really soaked up the syrup. They brown pretty quickly while still slightly mushy in the middle. Warmed them in the oven as I made the rest of the batch, which I think helped the middles cook through a little better.

Yum! Yum!! I make pancakes at least once a week (ok, I'm a bit of a pancake junky) and these are great. My kids eat em up every time. It's a great way to get rid of some ripe bananas. I sometimes add some oatmeal to the batter which makes them a bit more substantial.

You should make at least more serving than there are people. The recipe doesn't make as much as it says it does.

I wasn't expecting these to be sooo good! Perfect texture and flavor. We topped these with crunchy peanut butter and maple syrup. YUM! Next time I might try to substitute some of the flour with whole wheat and add some flaxmeal to add some healthy grains. Finally a different recipe for those overripe bananas besides banana bread! Highly recommend!!!

Probably the best pancakes we have ever had. The pancakes have a great banana taste, and make a change from traditional boring pancakes.
