These were delicious and didn't need any syrup. They were moist and fluffy and really easy to make. Definitely a keeper.

Great recipe, and a wonderful alternative to banana bread for overripe bananas, especially since it did not require a lot of eggs, a stick of butter/margarine, and or nuts. My husband enjoyed his with maple syrup, and I ate mine with peanut butter and honey drizzled on top.

Flat & Bland. I like fluffy pancakes and these pancakes were extremely flat, dry, and bland. They looked nothing like the picture and tasted not that well. Perhaps, I overstirred it because there were little to no lumps, however, the taste was still poor, therefore I'm giving this recipe 2 stars.

I really enjoyed these! I was looking for an alternative to our normal pancake and I also prefer to not add a bunch of sugar to our breakfast. These were perfect - with all that banana, I figured they didn't need any sugar for sweetness and I was right. I added some vanilla but otherwise made the recipe as described. They were heavy and moist, but we enjoyed them. Next time I will try them with just one banana. Yum!

These were a HUGE hit! My husband couldn't believe how good they were, my two-year-old had two, and I had 4! I used half whole wheat flour and half white. I did add the vanilla like others suggested, and I used applesauce in place of the oil. Make sure to cook on a low temp. Next time I make them I will add some nuts for texture. Thanks for the great recipe!

I made these this morning with buttermilk instead of milk. I also let them sit for about 1/2 hour, and blended the liquids with a hand blender, as another reviewer suggested. They were amazing! I froze half the batch so I have some for another breakfast for me and my husband.

Very nice taste but the cooking instructions should not say over medium high heat as the outside browns too fast and the inside is mush. Maybe next time I will try it over low heat? Thanks for the recipe.

This was the first time I made banana pancakes. It was wonderful and my husband loved them too! I added a tsp of vanilla and 1/4 tsp cinnamon as suggested by another review. However, I didn't want lumps of banana in my batter so I mixed all the liquid ingredients and banana in a blender. I then added the dry ingredients and blended well. No lumps, no mess and I could pour right from the pitcher to the griddle. I was able to get 20 pancakes this way! This is a new household favorite!

These were good, but yes, a bit soggy in the middle. Turned off my kids who don't like "gooey" stuff. They also did not rise very much at all, leading to a rather thin pancake, which again, is not what we're used to. The taste was great!

I couldn't find regular pancakes on the Allrecipes App I downloaded to my phone. But this worked great- I don't like bananas so I took them out- added butter instead of oil- didn't have white sugar, so I used brown- which added a wonderful deep & rich taste. This is a great base recipe. Next time I'll try adding nuts &/or vanilla- endless options!
