While the flavor was very good, it wasn't really the texture I was looking for in a pancake. Even cooked over low heat for a longer amount of time they were still very dense and mushy. Love the peanut butter syrup idea.

I used 1/3 c flour, 1/3 c wheat germs and 1/3 cup flour. Reduced milk to 3/4 cup and still found it to be too wet. Even lowering then temp and letting them cook longer. I will try it again with a less ripe of a banana and see if that helps. Also the banana flavor was not that great for me but it could have been the banana. Also I added chopped walnuts and I really liked that crunch in the pancake.

Delicious! My family doesn't really like anything in their pancakes and they loved this recipe!! Very simple. Please note: You have to cook on low, low, low :)! I love cooking on med/high but this recipe will burn. It takes longer to cook the pancake but you don't want the outside done before the inside! :) That's the only tip I have. Patience! :)

I followed other suggestions and added vanilla, also used apple sauce instead of the oil. They turned out delicious!! I baked them on medium heat because I felt medium high was too hot. Didn't need any syrup, just a little apple butter and they tasted great!

I had some leftover coconut milk that needed to be used up as well as some plain yogurt. I used those items in place of the milk called for in the recipe. They came out moist and delicious!

A good starter recipe. I used two bananas and applesauce instead of oil. The batter was thin so I made silver dollars. The pancakes turned out thin and flimsy (not dense like regular pancakes). The flavor was good, and I also added some chocolate chips. Beware that the pancakes may carmelize/burn a little on the griddle because of the sugar content of the 'nanners.

Very good pancakes! I cooked them on low as suggested and did not have any issues with mushiness. The texture of the pancake was also very nice; light and fluffy!

Great recipe, and a wonderful alternative to banana bread for overripe bananas, especially since it did not require a lot of eggs, a stick of butter/margarine, and or nuts. My husband enjoyed his with maple syrup, and I ate mine with peanut butter and honey drizzled on top.

Flat & Bland. I like fluffy pancakes and these pancakes were extremely flat, dry, and bland. They looked nothing like the picture and tasted not that well. Perhaps, I overstirred it because there were little to no lumps, however, the taste was still poor, therefore I'm giving this recipe 2 stars.
