These just plain weren't that good. I added in chocolate chips for my kids and used VERY ripe bananas and added vanilla and they were still just a bit bland. My kids liked them, though.

I followed the recipe with a couple of additions: a pinch of cinnamon and 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. I had to bake for 20 minutes for mini muffins. I mixed the dry ingredients together then sifted it over the wet ingredients. This resulted in less clumping which needed less stirring. Less stirring = soft muffins, not chewy. They were sooo good! I took them to work the next day and they disappeared in about an hour. With the modifications I made, this recipe yielded about 30 mini muffins. Next time I make this I'm going to also bake a few muffin tops. Mmm!

Very simple and tasty. I made it the first time with butter and the bottoms were oily. I made it the second time with applesauce instead and I actually liked it better.

Very Tasty! I added some halved maraschino cherries and walnuts. Used half brown sugar/half white and vanilla extract. Give this a try---you won't be disappointed.

Excellent muffins, moist and delicious. I followed the recipe exactly except for adding some walnuts, wheat germ and wheat bran. Next time I think I'll throw in a few poppy seeds too. Great use for old bananas!

Pretty darn good. I added some cinnamon and vanilla and I only had 2 bananas left. I too thought the batter was a little dry and added a bit of vegetable oil to moisten things up a bit. I think the muffins were delicious and very easy to make. I will definitely be making these again. An easy and yummy breakfast.

Fantastic! Very quick and easy to make, and they stay very moist even a couple days later! ... i add a crumble topping to mine: 1/4C brown sugar, 1/6C all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 TBS melted butter, mix with a fork and then with your hands a bit if it's too clumpy. sprinkle on the tops before you put it in the oven. Yum!

Awesome recipe. I usually do not change recipes, but I ran out of eggs and used one of my idividual sized cups of applesauce instead. I also used vegtable oil instead of butter and I added a little bit of water, about 3 tb because the batter looked a little thick. But this is my second day of using this recipe. Will use again. Thank you!!!

YUM! Very easy to make. I used an electric mixer for the wet ingredients. I doubled the recipe and was one banana short and it was still good. I was short on butter and added a little olive oil to make up for it. I also sprinkled some sugar on top of each muffin before baking. This recipe is very forgiving.

This is the same exact recipe as the "Banana Crumb Muffins" recipe, only without the topping. It's excellent and the only recipe I use. One time making it, I didn't have white flour, so I used whole wheat flour, and now, I make it this way every time, as the family likes it just as much.

These muffins were so good! The only thing I did different was add a little vanilla. I also used 1/2 whole wheat flour 1/2 regular flour and then put some flaxseeds in the batter. VERY tastey recipe!!!
