BEST BANANA MUFFINS - EVER!!! Seriously. These were so easy to make and so incredibly delicious - especially right out of the oven. They melted in my mouth. Here's some changes I made: I used 3/4 cup all-purpose flour and 3/4 cup whole wheat flour. I added 1 tsp vanilla to the wet stuff and 1 tsp cinnamon to the dry stuff. Yummy! Thanks so much for the simple, delicious recipe!

used some cinnamon and cloves, just under 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 whole wheat flour. I also put some peanut butter cream cheese frosting blobs I had left over from a cake in the center.. kind of made a hole in the center, but it spread the peanut butter flavor throughout the entire muffin. So.... so good.

Very good muffins. I replaced half the butter with applesauce and added a little spice and nuts and they turned out grea. However, do not eat hot out of the oven. They taste much better after cooling!

a great recipe!! The results from my high school students were amazing! We tested a few of the reviewers comments: added 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon-these were more tasty but less of a banana flavor; using stand mixer to mix instead of by hand turned out more dry and didn't rise as much; adding nuts gave it more texture; 1/8 t cinnamon & 1/8 t nutmeg & walnuts and stirring was the favorite of the class-more flavor, texture, but still a great banana flavor.

Really good muffins, also added vanilla and cinnamon. I like sweet but they were a little too sweet. Might cut out some of the sugar next time or use applesauce instead... This recipe is a keeper though!

I really love this! It's so incredibly moist. It is a little sweeter than i thought, but that may be becasue the bananas i used were very ripe and sweet. Like others I altered it slightly. I used 4 small-medium bananas (I didn't had large ones) and I added 1/2 tsp. of vanilla, and 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon. Also, I separated the egg and whipped the eggwhite into soft peaks. I folded in the other wet ingredients most of the way and then folded in the eggwhite. It made the muffins a bit more airy. I am very happy with the results.

These were soo easy to make & were really yummy & moist!! I liked these better than the top rated banana muffins (can't remember what they were called) I took other reviewer's suggestions & added 1/4 cup walnuts, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamin & then sprinkled the muffins with cinnamin & sugar before baking them. The only other change I made was that I used only 2 banana's because thats all I had on hand. They still turned out great & were delish...great banana flavor!!!

So easy and super yummy! I used 4 small bananas but they aren't very banana-y. Could use more, but I did add vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate chips, as they are for my sons preschool class snake.

I make these muffins about twice a month. Sometimes I throw in a handful of mini chocolate chips, some vanilla, or cinnamon. Also makes for a yummy bread. Just have to increase the cooking time (I start at 35 minutes then check it every couple minutes for doneness.)

I lowered sugar to 1/2 c. These were great and my kids keep asking for them. Nice addition to supper or as a snack. I used 4 medium bananas.

These muffins were really easy to make and tasted really good! I added 1tsp vanilla and a sprinkle of cinnamon based on other reviews, and cinnamon apple sauce because I only had 2 bananas. Also sprinkled brown sugar on top (only because my 4yo really wanted to put green apple sprinkles on them and I needed a fast alternative!) but we really liked it. I will definitely use the brown sugar on top in the future. Thanks for the great, simple recipe!

Simple to make - and just a wonderful flavor. I had 4 ripe bananas and I really think you can add even more if you have them - it just adds to the flavor. For convection baking at 350degrees - 18 minutes was perfect for 12 regular size muffins. A keeper!

Sometimes simple is best!!! These are by far the best banana muffins I have ever made and I've been cooking for over 20 yrs. I did substitute 1/2 c of the white flour for whole wheat, added 1 tsp vanilla, chopped walnuts and choc. chips. The key really is to NOT overmix! Super simple and delicious!!!
