After a few "enhancements" these are the perfect, healthy & kid-friendly muffins!
Use half whole wheat, half white flour. Cut down sugar to 1/2 cup. Omit butter, substitute applesauce, add 1/2 cup ground flax seed. Like other folks, I added cinnamon & vanilla. Sprinkle with diced, toasted pecans & lightly sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar before baking. Easy, quick & delicious! Our family's favorite muffin recipe!
