Original Recipe Yield 1 - 9x5 inch loaf
 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 3/4 cup mashed banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, banana, salt, pepper, paprika and dry mustard until well mixed. Shape into a loaf and place in prepared pan.
  3. Bake in preheated oven 1 hour, or until no longer pink in the center.
