Followed exact, except i accidentally threw the brown sugar in the muffin, so I had to get out more for the topping. A very delicious muffin.

Fantastic! Light and delicious, not heavy like banana bread. I made some of the changes suggested in the reviews to make it a little healthier. I split the flour into 3/4 unbleached all purpose and 3/4 whole wheat, reduced the sugar to 1/2 c white, and used 1/3 cup natural applesauce instead of butter or oil as suggested. I added the 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1 tsp vanilla too. I also reduced the topping to 1/4 c brown sugar and increased cinnamon to 3/4 tsp. I also put the topping on during the last 5 minutes. Super easy and delicious!

I followed the recipe exactly and I have to say, this is really nothing special. The topping is about all it has going for it. Too dry due to only using butter and could benefit from some nuts in my opinion.

De-lish recipe! I healthied things up by subbing some whole wheat flour, and by using oil in place of the butter in the batter, and added 1 t. vanilla. Yummy muffins!

Excellent!!! I did use 1/3cup oil replacing butter. I also added Walnuts or Chocolate chips to some for a variety. They are sooo good.

Followed another users tip to add nutmeg and feel it completely ruined the taste of the muffins.

I made this recipe with no alterations and it was fantastic! There is a perfect balance of banana flavor in this recipe. I originally made it so I'd have muffins to take and go on my way to school, but (not to my surprise) when I walked downstairs the next morning they were ALL gone. Oh well, guess I'll just have to make them again ;)

Wonderful muffins. I'm eating a hot one out of the oven right now. I did use oil instead of melted butter and added a bit of cinnamon and nutmeg to the muffin. Very good! I'm thinking mini loaves for Holiday gifts!!??

These were good but not "scrumptious". But my 18 month old loved them! I will stick to my recipe for banana muffins, though.

I am not a frequent baker, and these turned out perfectly! I even started with a few handicaps: I don't have a dry measuring cup, and I used a liquid one. My apartment's oven isn't always accurate. I don't have a mixer and had to mash everything by hand. I was prepared for disaster, but I had to use these bananas! Oh my gosh, it'll be a miracle if I don't eat the whole pan. I'll definitely make these again!

These are fabulous! My teenagers had half of them gone within an hour after coming out of the oven. I did make a few changes, to health it up a bit: added 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour and reduced the all-purpose to 1 cup. I used 4 large bananas instead of 3 and also used applesauce in place of the melted butter. Then I added 1 Tbsp. of Canola oil. My yield was a bit higher: 14. I used the Reynolds muffin tins. I will make these again and again. Very pleased I tried this recipe!

So good! My family gobbled these up! I followed the recipe exactly, and I got a dozen gorgeous muffins. Next time I'm going to try throwing some walnuts into the mix. This is definitely a new family favorite.
