I was looking for the best banana muffins this site had to offer, and I found them! Without a doubt this is the best muffin recipe I've ever used. The crumb topping is deeeelish! I thought it actually made a little too much, but not biggie. I did add some cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice to the muffin batter. My husband and kids devoured these. I quadrupled the recipe to use the 12 ripe bananas I had, which made 30 large muffins and 4 small loaf pans (which cooked about 30-35minutes).

simple to make with ingredients you almost always have on hand. I added an extra banana because I had 4 over-ripe ones and it was moist and delicious. My 5 year old son helped make them...so easy. Oh, I also made 12, not 10...they would've been too big.

These were not great at all. The best part of the muffin was the crumb topping. I followed directions precisely and the end result was very bland. Maybe I'm just not a fan of cooked bananas.

I waited to put the crumb topping on 5 minutes before they were done. This way, it didnt melt into the muffin and was still crumbly. Over all, didnt change anything. They were gone that night! Thank you Lisa!!

AMAZING!!...I adjusted recipe according to review before mine and happy I did!! The only adjustment I would make is adding the crumble topping aprx. last 5 minutes of baking time. A must make!!

I have tried this recipe twice now and am totally in love with it. I like spices, so I added hints of cinnamon, ginger, and allspice to the batter, but otherwise, I left this gem unchanged.

I make these all the time for my daughter who is allergic to eggs. I substitute 1tbsp vinegar, 1tbsp milk and 1tsp baking powder for the egg and they turn out great every time!

omg they were delicious! i doubled up on the recipe to make a dozen large muffin. i only chand a couple things. i used 1 c. white sugar and the rest brown sugar 4 the batter. i also added 1 grated granny smith apple because i was short 1 banana. they looked gourgeous, were flavorful and my whole family loved them!

These were really good. My whole family loved them. The topping was a little to crunchy for me to chew (but, because of my teeth). I will probably make these again in the future.
