These are really easy and really the best muffin/bread recipe I have ever tried. Fresh tasting with a wonderful banana flavor. Super moist! Also, not too bad healthy wise either. It's more banana than flour!

Followed recipe to the T, and was able to make 12 muffins using an ice cream style scoop. The muffins were of good size doing it this way. I honestly think that a muffin any larger would be overkill. These were very moist and had a very natural banana taste to them and the topping on the top was a great added touch. My husband, who does not like bananas enjoyed these. That alone says plenty!

My family loved this recipe. I prepared the recipe for 12 muffins because my pan is for 12 and we love muffins. I just used the calculate tool on this site. The measurement came out odd but it worked. I used 2 eggs. It was easy and tasted great. Since we love a moist muffin I used 4 riped bananas instead of 3 1/2 as in the recipe. Also added 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 nutmeg. Topping was the best. Thank you.

Not bad, but I like my banana bread recipe better. I think next time I may use my own bread recipe and add the crumb topping.

I thought these were great. I only had 1 good sized banana, so I halved the recipe to make 3 muffins in my jumbo muffine tin. Lowered baking temp to 350 and baked about 24 min. They were yummy!

This is a great recipe!!! I followed the suggestion of K. Lynn (most helpful reviews). I also bake these in a mini muffin tray at 350 for 10-12 minutes. This is the perfect size for children and for those who don't want a whole muffin! I also add the topping in the last minutes of baking.

these werent bad. changed a few things. added 1/4 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp cinnamon to the dry mixture. added 1/2 tsp vanilla to the wet mixture. after mixing together, added 1/4 cup chopped walnuts and 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips. (my husband calls these Chunky Monkey Muffins.) i also added old fashioned oats to the topping. came out nice, cooked on 350 for 25 min, since i made large muffins and wanted them to cook inside and not burn outside.

These muffins are incredible. I can totally understand all the rave reviews. I've only made them a few times as they're dangerous to have around the house, but they're an exceptional treat when I do make them and perfect for special breakfasts and visitors. Though the taste is extraordinary, they're easy and inexpensive enough to make regularly. Thanks so much for sharing. These are amazing.

i have two children under the age of five and they loved these muffins. I have made it many times since I found the recipe in this site...I have also passed on to my neighbors. The only change I made to the recipe are I used 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, 1/2 of nutmeg and 1 tsp of vanilla.

Excellent!!! I followed the recipe almost exactly, I only added a little cinnamon to the batter. We love cinnamon. I may try some vanilla next time, but it is fine with out. This is excellent! Maybe I'll try it with applesauce next time instead of the butter for lower fat muffin.
