The muffins were very yummy! Moist and chocolatey. I plan on making them over and over again.

My daughter helped me make these muffins this morning. We used 3/4 cup ww flour and 1 cup ap flour. We added a tsp of vanilla, 1/2 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips was plenty and the recipe made 4 dozen mini muffins. They didn't seem to have a very strong banana flavor, but they were moist and the kids loved them.

These were pretty tasty. A little on the spongy-side but I liked that they weren't crumbly so my kids didn't make a mess eating them. I was trying to make healthy muffins and was searching for one that used applesauce, so I was a bit surprised that this one also called for oil. I decided to leave it out and used a whole cup of banana instead (about 3 medium bananas). I only had a half cup of the chocolate chips - though I'm sure it would have been great with more.

Yummy! Made with 1 cup wheat and 3/4 cup white flour. Instead of apple sauce used banana creme yogurt. Added 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg and 1 teaspoon vanilla.Replace chips with nuts.Omitted oatmeal. Good recipe!

These muffins are fabulous! I never thought I would like a muffin with chocolate, but these are very tasty. I do believe the applesauce helps to make them so incredibly moist! I have been searching for a variety of banana muffin recipes, and I will definitely keep this one......and make them again!!! YUM!

I made these over the weekend with very ripe bananas. The muffins had really great banana flavor and were even better the next day. I will make this again, but will cut back on the chocolate chips to maybe 1/2 cup just for personal taste.
