Delicious! I love a cakey cookie. I followed the recipe exactly--I was temped to add another banana, but a single banana is perfect--the flavor is just right. Thanks JoAnne!

My roommates and I can't stop eating these! These are very unique cookies, so they'll catch people's attention, and they're DELICIOUS, so be ready to give out the recipe! I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out perfect.

I think there was a bit too much flour, very cake like...I also added chopped walnuts. Overall, pretty good :-)

All around, I enjoy unique things in life...and this would classify as a unique cookie experience in my book. Cookies came out just as recipe described -- somewhat chewy cake-like texture with a nice balance of banana and chocolate flavor. I didn't have any shortening on hand so i used vegetable oil instead. No problem there. Being that these do NOT flatten at all while baking, it is vital that you flatten them beforehand or you will end up with cookie "mountains". Thank you for an interesting alternative to the traditional chocolate chip cookie.

The cookies came out exactly as described, good texture, definite banana flavor. They are VERY different, so if you're looking for traditional, skip this.
