well---I wasn't paying attention and omitted the milk and did not realize until it was too late. I made mini muffins and added vanilla and cinnamon. Even without the milk they are delicious. Will try again with the milk this time to taste the difference.

Yummy but doesn't stand out from any other recipe I've tried. I tried the Banana Banana Banana Bread Recipe, too. Both yummy. I'm just looking for a recipe that will STAND OUT!

Very good recipe! I followed some of the other suggestions and used all brown sugar and added vanilla, 1/2t each of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ground cloves. It was delicious!

I can't imagine why anyone would want to tinker with this recipe. It's incredibly good as-is. The only change I made was to use butter instead of margarine. Also, since I live at an altitude of 4,000 ft., I added 10 mins to the baking time. It came out moist and very flavorful. I said to my husband, "This is really good, huh." And he said, "Dangerously good." The only sort of negative comment I could possibly make is that the bread was a bit crumbly. I might try adding another egg next time and hope it doesn't give the bread an eggy taste.

I just made this bread, it turned out quite well, I also used an extra egg, and some cinnamon. My trick with banana bread is I use 2 cups of the krusteez bread machine white bread mix instead of all purpose flour. I found this little trick out by accident as I was out of flour one day and used what I had on hand. You have to cook it about 10 minutes longer, but it comes out so much better. I've tired different recipes, with and without using the krusteez, huge difference! Thanks for the great recipe!

Good bread, I used Seattlemommys tips but I must add depending on your ovens temp. and size of loaf pan you may need to bake for longer than 50 minutes, mine came out under cooked using the original suggestion, definately needs choc. chips too! Hubby loved it and will use it again.

I thought that this was an alright banana bread, though everyone else seemed to like it. If I make it again, I will definitely be doing some tweeking - likely more banana and fewer nuts.

Very nice recipe. I also added the cinnamon and vanilla and extra egg. I also added 1/4 teaspoon of ground allspice, just a personal preference. I remembered at the last minute that I didn't have any walnuts. So I chopped up about 20 roasted macadamia nuts that I did have on hand. They aren't bad, they gave it the crunch it needs and are definitely not the traditional taste, but they worked. My family seemed to like it as well. This recipe rose beautifully. I baked mine in 4 mini loaf pans so I can give a few away. Thanks for the great recipe.

This bread is really good! I did take the advice of adding 1/2 cup brown sugar, the cinn. and vanilla. My husbands co-workers love it. I think I've made one every week for the past 5 weeks!

Thanks for sharing this wonderful Banana Bread recipe. I used five extremly ripe bananas, and followed the rest of the instructions as written. I didn't slice till the next morning. Held together great.

This banana bread was not as dense as some previous recipes I have tried. At first I lamented that it was a bit crumbly, but after a day, it was perfect. Thanks :)

This was the best bananna bread recipe ever! Like some of the others suggested, I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar. Threw in 1 tsp. cinnamon but only used the one egg and put some mini chocolate chips in. It came out moist with a crusty top. This tasted awesome! I will definitely make this again.

I've been making this bread for over a year now. It is the only banana bread I make and my husband cannot get enough! I make it just the recipe is written except sometimes I add more then a cup of banana, it all depends how many bananas I have on hand.

Good banana bread-the crust had a delightful cruch to it and it was moist and tasted great. My only complaint is that it just crumbled apart when trying to get a slice! Guess I should have added an extra egg as others suggested.

This is the best banana bread recipe that I have found! I've tried many and most have turned out dry and crusty. But this recipe makes a nice moist loaf, slightly crusty on the outside. When I make this banana bread, I can usually get two loaves out of one recipe, so I end up freezing the extra one. I did use 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 3/4 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp vanilla and all brown sugar, as some others have suggested. Also, substituted vanilla yogurt for the milk and loved the results. This has turned out to be a definate favorite at our house!
