My 5 year old daughter made this recipe for her grandmothers for Christmas. Even she said "Wow! This is simple." It was delicious too. I did increase the recipe to 4 bananas though.

This was EXCELLENT! I did as others suggested and used 4 very ripe bananas. 2 of them I mashed pretty well the other 2 I left lumpy. I added cinnamon and nuts. YUMMY!

This was a GREAT recipe! It turned out delicious and had wonderful banana flavour! I used baking powder instead of soda though. Overall, this recipe is fantastic! However, it turned more "cake" like than bread! But it tasted really good. Everyone loved it! Thanks for the recipe.

Deliciously moist, tasty and beautiful! Must eat the Day After though - I think the flavors and the bread settle to perfection during this time. Thank you for the suggestions: 1/2 tspn of - cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda & 1 tsp vanilla. This one is a definitely keeper for the "family recipe box". Thanks again for sharing AllRecipes!

I love this recipe...very tasty results! I did the same changes that a lot of reviewers did: 4 bananas, 1 tsp vanilla, cinnamon to taste. I also added 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Everyone has really enjoyed this bread. The recipe is super easy, even for a beginning baker like myself.

Very boring, plain. The plus is that it was easy to make & didn't call for alot of ingredients. I would not make it again.

Normally, I make my Grandma's banana bread but we really like this one. We've had it fresh out of the oven, cold, toasted, and tomorrow I'm going to see how it comes out as french toast. It slices well and has a good banana flavor. Great recipe!

Mmmmm...so good! As others suggested, I added an extra banana (mostly because I had four overripe bananas on hand), 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Cooked 30 min at 350, then 25 min at 325. Made a gorgeous loaf, and it was so moist and banana-y. My husband loved it! Best banana bread I've ever had.

I loved this recipe! I have been baking for years and I have tried many banana bread recipes and this is by far the best I have EVER made! I also added one extra banana, half b. sugar and the vanilla and baking soda (like others had suggested) in ONE pan for about 55 minutes. SO good. It was gone in half a day. I'm going to make another one right now!

I just make mine in one larger bread pan. Great banana bread! Try adding walnuts or chocolate chips, you won't be disappointed. It makes your house smell so good!

This is a great recipe as is, but am thinking of adding 1 tsp. cinnamon & vanilla to see if I can kick it up a notch. Otherwise a fabulous recipe worth trying and loving. My boyfriend and I loved it!!!

This recipe was very good and turned out great. I substituted half Splenda, half sugar instead of 1 cup of sugar. It wasn't noticable. I also added a half cup of walnuts. Very good and simple recipe.
