Loved the recipe. I only used two bananas (because that's all that I had) and I threw in some brown sugar and some cinnamon. This resulted in only one loaf of banana bread.

I made mini loafs and they turned out fantastic. I also added a little vanilla extract and cinnamon, but thats just how I like it. i also added thick cuts of banana on the top for more texture/flavor. Great recipe.

This banana bread is absolutely delicious! I made it for a friend's baby-shower on Saturday and was very pleased with the results. My husband, who does not normally love banana bread, asked me to make it again today! I've made a ton of different banana breads in my day and this one is at the top. It comes together very, very easily and is moist and quite flavorful. I think one of the best aspects of this recipe is that it does not call for any spices. I've tried banana breads with cinnamon and nutmeg and I think these additions greatly detract from and over-power the flavor of the banana. With this recipe, the banana is the main star. The only change I made to this recipe was to add semi-sweet chocolate chips...yummy!! I also made this recipe into 3 mini loaf pans and it was perfect!

I've made this twice now. The second time it turned out even better. I did add 1 tsp. Vanilla, 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon, 1 tsp. Baking Powder, 5 Bananas, and another 1/2 C. Flour. I will make this again and again!

Two thumbs way up from me. I would definitely make this again. I didn't have any eggs, so I substituted 2 tablespoons ground flax and 6 tablespoons water. It turned out so tasty!

Pretty good.....thick batter, wish it was a little more banana-y tasting... (I had only 3 over ripe ones on hand). Nice color and texture though after cooking. Thanks.

Made this today - first time making banana bread and it came out great. I used some tips from other reviewers (thanks!). I used brown sugar instead of white sugar, added a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg, added about 1/2 cup of walnuts and 1/2 cup of choclate chunks, and used 4 bananas. Came out moist and on the dense side - very yummy! thanks!!

This is the first time I made banana bread, so I have nothing to compare it to. I did what the top reviewer suggested, I added more banana, flour, vanilla, and baking soda, turned out yummy! I used one standard loaf pan. So easy! Next time I will use only 1.5 tsp of baking soda instead of 2 tsp as suggested by the top review.

the recipie is simple and easy to follow. i made this with my not-so-attentive boyfriend and it turned out great! we ate a whole loaf right out of the oven! i did cover the pans with tinfoil half way through the cooking time and i took them out 10minutes early. they would have burned otherwise. ive made bread in these pans once before and there was no way to get the bread out in tact and it was awful scrubbing the crust off the sides. this time i used "PAM with flour for baking" and there was the perfect degree of bread/pan seperation. the bread fell right out, no mess

I made muffins out of this batter (used the whole recipe for 12 muffins), left the bananas in big chunks, put chunks of chocolate on top of the muffins, put it on the oven for 18 minutes like the other person did.... put some butter on top.... .. The best muffins ever! I will certainly try making the banana bread when I visit my family for Christmas. Thank you for the recipe, and have a great day!

I made several adjustments that were suggested above. I added peanut butter, cinnamon, vanilla and an extra banana. It came out a bit dry, but the flavor was very good. I don't know what I can do to correct the dryness of the bread because the flavor was great. Maybe extra butter. Any suggestions please let me know, but the chunky peanut butter was a great addition without being overwhelmed by nuts.

I gave this only 4 because the recipe wasn't perfect until it was tweaked. After the adjustments though it definitely gets 5 stars! I increased the bananas to 4 and mashed them coarsely so I would have chunks of banana in the bread, replaced all the white sugar with dark brown sugar, added cinnamon to taste and added 4 heaping tablespoons of chunky natural peanut butter and cooked in a mini loaf pan (I ended up with 8 mini loafs). It was dense and moist with perfectly cracked and brown crust! Fantastic right out of the oven with butter on top or the next day I popped it into the microwave to reheat. YUM!!
