I have made this many times now and it is by far the best I have made. Everyone that has had it agrees with me. I sometimes put chocolate chips in it because the kids like it like that. Thanks for such a easy and great recipe.

Definitely needs some spices but otherwise, this is not your generic banana bread!!! I followed the advice of another reviewer and used 1/4c oil & 1/3c applesauce instead of the butter.

The best recipe I have ever tried for banana bread. The only thing I changed was I added 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. Fantastic!

I made this according to the original recipe and loved it! I served it on halloween after the kids finished trick-or-treating and it was just sweet enough to keep the adults out of the candy!

I used only four bananas and thought it wasn't sweet enough and kind of dry. Next time I'll use more and measure out the 2 1/3 cups to give the receipe a fair chance.

Flavor is wonderful. It took over an hour to bake completely, so the bottom and sides were a little over done, but hey its texture..right?

Very easily the best banana bread I have ever made. As per some reviews, I added a splash of vanilla extract and a couple shakes of cinnamon. I wish I had made a double batch!

A deliciously dense and sweet loaf. Try adding a couple of handfuls of chocolate chips. You won't regret it. This is my go-to banana bread recipe.

For a non-baker like me, this was simple, delicious, hearty, moist, and just tasted healthy utilizing the bananas for sweetness rather than processed sugar like other bread recipes--AWESOME.

This bread is awesome! There is not one thing that I would change about it! dont put more bananas in there then told to do. I did that once and it seemed like the bread was not cooked all the way but it was all the bananas in there that made it seem that way.

Delicious the first time I made it! The bananas I used were really overripe and it was the most delicious banana bread I've ever eaten! I usually add walnuts but this recipe doesn't need them!

My first time making it and the bread came out great! My boyfriend likes coconut so I added some coconut flaks in to the mix for additional burst of flavor. He couldn’t get over of how good it came out and what an amazing cook I am =) Thx Shelley!

This recipe is a great base, I want to share the changes I made for anyone who wants it a bit healthier. I used 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour and 3/4 cup white, instead of butter used 1/4 cup oil and 1/3 cup apple sauce (I put in a bit extra cause I was short on bananas) and only about 1/2 cup brown sugar. I also added in about 3/4 tsp cinnamon, and a handful of chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
