Excellent and easy recipe. I added tsp cinnamon,1/4 tsp nutmeg, tsp vanilla and lightly creamed the sugar and butter into crumbles. It was moist and not that dense.

Awesome, awesome banana bread, and easy to make. I followed the recipe exact, except that I added 3/4 cup of walnuts to it. The top crust came out slightly crisp, but it's a good little crunch. Make sure you lightly spray the loaf pan so that the bread pops right out. The husband and I loved it, and he's picky. The two of us could easily devour this bread in a day. No joke.

Turned out great I did use only as suggested 1/2 a cup of brown sugar and will use this recipe again but I may try the whole wheat flour I'm all for healthier recipes :)

I made this exactly as instructed but doubled everything. Then I poured the batter into 3 greased 8 x 4 aluminum pans. I spaced the 3 pans in the oven on a small cookie sheet to allow enough heat to circulate and cook them evenly. Baked for 60 minutes as instructed and they came out perfect! I gave 2 away as gifts but now have to make another batch, because for the first time ever, my kids were upset I gave the banana bread away. The one loaf wasn't enough they said. Great recipe! Everyone should try it exactly as is at least once before making changes.

I loved this recipe, but I added 1 tsp. cinammon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg. It's moist and my friends rave!

I did the cupcakes, baked at 325, only moistening the batter (not stirring too much) and it turned out yummy.

Not crazy about this. Number one it's dense. Not that sweet. I've made better banana bread. Need to find the recipe.

No one should look any further for such delicious banana bread. :) It's so moist and regardless of the huge amounts of banana it takes to make it, it has astounding amounts of flavor. I recommend counting 7 small overripe bananas. Your family will be floored with your baking skills!

My friends raved about how tasty this bread was. I also like banana bread without any walnuts, so this is a winner and my new favorite banana bread recipe!

I had never made banana bread before, but I had a bunch that needed to be used for something! I looked on here to find a recipe, and this one looked to be easiest. It was so simple and delicious! My almost 2 year old absolutely loved it! My 4 year old despises bananas, but he ate the banana bread and even asked if he could help next time I make it. I'm just about to make another batch, only this time I'm making it into muffins. :) Great recipe and very "banana-y"

This bread is pretty good, but I think 60 minutes baking was too long. Mine came out with a little dry and with a very firm crust (or is it supposed to be that crusty?). I did take the advice to cut the sugar and used applesauce in place of butter. The bread has a nice taste and I'll make it again, only cut down on the baking time.

Wonderful!!! I added 1 tsp vanilla also just because someone else had. I poured my batter into my Pampered Chef mini loaf pan, made 4 loaves baked 30 mins. I will be making this again and again Thanks and God Bless
