Bistro flavor. see the comments and use them for your tastes. Use red onions, finely chopped. Skip step one completely for firmer potatoes and save pans. Just put the vinegar in at the first and cover with foil. I wonder what kind of potato salad these leftovers would make? yummy German style i'll bet.

I love these potatos and have made them several times. I use a cast iron skillet (I am a big fan, I don't even own a nonstick.) This way you don't even have to transfer the potatos, it goes straight into the oven.
