These are really great! Every time I make them I get loads of compliments on them, they come across as fancy and difficult but they really aren't hard to make at all!

I thought it was a bit too vinegary. But the potatoes still went over very well at our Mother's Day dinner. Next time I'll still use the vinegar, just a bit less of it. I also used Yukon Gold potatoes because I didn't have any red ones on hand. Pretty good, overall.

These were pretty good. I added veggies to go with the potatoes -red onion, bell pepper, baby carrots & sweet potato. Very good side with our steak dinner!

Delicious. I cut back a bit on the balsamic vinegar and it was perfect.

Nice easy side dish with a ton of flavour from the balsamic, mmmm! I used a shallot instead of green onion as that was all I had. Also only baked in the oven (no stovetop) since I was baking Oregano-Lemon Chicken (from this site). Nice change to your standard roasted potatoes

this looks so good, and i love balsamic vinegar, but i was disappointed when i made this. the only thing i can think of is that i used regular, not red, potatoes. the flavour was okay, but just nothing special. i didn't find it to be worth the extra effort. i think they might have been better another way i read on here where someone cooked the vinegar into a sauce by accident.. pic

This is a very good recipe. I cooked them to go along with Easter dinner and everyone at the table loved them. I also deglazed the pan with some red wine, thickened it a bit and used it to top off the potatoes.

Great recipe! I added green beans at the end of the baking time to mine and it came out wonderful. Everyone at Easter dinner loved it. I added the salt and pepper earlier than the recipe called but it didn't seem to make a difference. Thanks for this recipe. Will make again

A very tasty combination of flavors...I think the sweetness of the nutmeg and balsamic vinegar balances the savory seasonings perfectly. I'm making them again tonight and am going to add some cooked green beans during the final few minutes of roasting. They make great cold leftovers, too!

I usually loves vinegar, but not so much here. The taste was a little strange and not to my liking.

This turned out very well alongside garlic-lime pork chops, but I made some changes. Instead of simply using the balsamic vinegar, I used a balsamic vinegarette (Good Seasonings makes the best), topping that off with some straight vinegar. When adding this I also added some fresh baby spinach and tossed it all together, then put it back in the oven for about three minutes. Delicious and I was able to sneak some greens in as well!

I'm definately in the minority on this one! Based on the reviews I thought something mysterious and magical was going to happen in the oven. But alas, it tasted like balsamic vinegar on potatoes. Not a combo I personally enjoyed.

I gave these potatoes a 4.5 star rating. They were very good. I enjoy making potatoes with Lipton Onion Soup mix and these were so much better. I used fresh rosemary along with other spices in the recipe. I didn't really care for the taste of the vinegar with the potatoes. I think I will try them again and omit the vinegar which will make it 5 stars! This recipe was fabulous with the Herb Pork Loin.
