These were good but nothing that I would rave about. The first time I made these they really weren't very flavorfull. I made them again but I added extra thyme and rosemary and instead of green onion I used shallots because I like the flavor better. Otherwise these were good and worth making again.

Simply delicious. I used a really thick, expensive balsamic vinegar. Really wonderful flavors.

This is a great way to dress up potatoes and a good side. I will make them again with a few changes. I didn't have green onions so I used a small amount of white onion, so I'll have to try the green next time. Also only used 2 cloves of garlic which was enough with all the spices. I would recommend small cubed over larger, maybe a little larger then peasant size.

This is my standard potato recipe now. They are delicious as home fries the next morning with scrambled eggs.

Definitely a good recipe, but perhaps too much balsamic taste. Roasted vegetables- type recipes are perhaps better than this one.

I didn't care for the taste of the balsamic, but to be fair I used fingerling potatoes so maybe that changed the taste

I did a 1/4 cup of balsamic Italian dressing instead of the vinegar and it was SOOOO delicious!

I did something similar, and the balsamic really hit the spot! I'd add the balsamic before the potatoes got to the crispy stage next time.

I really hate to have a completely different opinion after all the raves but these potatoes totally lacked in flavor. I did the recipe exactly according to the author. Not bad, but not great either. Would not make again. Thanks for the recipe!

I am surprised that this dish received such great reviews. I agree with SamanthaA there is something missing. I can't say they were bland because they had flavor it just wasn't exceptional. Just not for me. I served them at a cookout and everyone agreed with me. Sorry but this recipe will not be made again in my house!

My family just loved this recipe. It is so easy and the balsamic vinigar give a sweet and sour taste at the same time. The potatoes were perfect. Thanks.

This is a spectacular potato side dish. The balsamic vinegar, rosemary, and thyme provide an interesting, compelling flavor. The ingredients naturally meld together after time in the oven. The potatoes needed another few minutes in my oven for the potatoes to be soft all the way through and my oven usually cooks fast. Just taste or cut a thick potato to test it before serving. I could not discern the nutmeg, which may be a good thing.
