Balsamic Pork Chops

"These flavorful chops can be put in the refrigerator in the morning to marinate and be ready for the grill after work. Serve with seasoned rice, peas and breadsticks."

INGREDIENTS

  • 8 boneless pork chops, about 3/4-inch thick
  • 1 1/2 cups balsamic vinaigrette dressing

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place chops in large, resealable bag; pour vinaigrette dressing over. Seal bag and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.
  2. Prepare medium-hot grill.
  3. Remove chops from marinade and pat dry. Discard remaining marinade. Grill chops directly over heat for about 8 to 10 minutes, turning once. Serve desired number of chops for dinner; wrap and refrigerate remaining chops for up to three days.

Very good. Will do again. I used a little bit of BBQ sauce for dipping.

This was really simple to make but I thought the taste was a bit strong. If I do it again I'll add something to dilute the vinagre a little like 1/2 balsamic 1/2 lemonade or something. and may be add some herbs too. maybe marjoram or oregano or just mixed herbs. I think I will try it again at some point because it was a nice dish and sooo easy too.
