Made this the other night, it was quick, easy, and tasted great. Even my picky 2 year old ate it.

This was just OK for us. The flavors never really mixed well for me for some reason. Could have been my wine choice, but I've found much better recipes on this site for salmon.

Excellent. I got tired of poaching salmon and I was out of white cedar for planking so I needed something different. The ingredients were similar to my planked recipe but this was easier. Oddly, I did not notice this awful smell a few have mentioned while cooking down the sauce. Perhaps I like balsamic vinegar better?

Great taste! Came home at 7 one day when I promised hubby dinner at 7.30. Saw this recipe; sauteed salmon fillets in pan - when cooked, put aside. Put glaze mixture in the same pan, let boiled. Add salmon, covered with glaze, simmer till preferred consistency. Wa-lah! Superb dinner in 15 mins! Thanks for the recipe :)

DELICIOUS!!! I will use less vinegar next time - it was ALMOST overpowering the other flavors.

Great recipe - quick and easy. I used frozen salmon and was able to apply the glaze halfway through the cooking time without any problems!

I scaled the sauce to 4 and used only 2 pieces of salmon. It was delightful. I'd serve this to guests. Of course, I may use to scale next time.

YUM, YUM YUM! I've made this several times and its always good! True, it doesn't smell great when cooking, but sooo delicious and always easy to make with ingredients on hand. Also, it's a good break from some of the other recipes with brown sugar.

Good taste, very simple to prepare, and uses ingredients I almost always have on hand (I did skip the fresh oregano, but otherwise followed exactly as written). My fillets were perfectly cooked after 12 minutes. I served with wasabi mashed potatoes and steamed asparagus - the entire meal came together in less than 30 minutes, which was wonderful. Will make again, thanks!

I was a little worried about the sauce as it was simmering, because it definitely did not smell appetizing. However, once the dish was completed, it was great! I made it for my French in-laws and they also enjoyed it. Will be a staple in our house.

I'm unsure about the taste, my husband liked it and so did my mom but I'm still on the fence about it.

Ok...I agree with some of the others that the glaze does NOT smell good while cooking. However, once baked onto the salmon...this is WONDERFUL!!! My family loved this dish!!! I will certainly be making it again and again. Thanks!!!!

the vinegar overwhelms the taste of this glaze and does not smell good while cooking or go with the taste of the fish. Save yourself some time and just make a brown sugar glaze also found on allrecipes.

Just so-so, though my hopes were high. The marinade didn't seemed balanced. The flavor of the balsamic vinegar was overly dominate.

Think of this as an Italian glaze for salmon and you won't be surprised by the taste. I was hoping for something a little sweeter and the first bite kind of shocked me with the tartness but after a couple of bites, really started to like it. I think if you added just a touch more honey, it would work perfectly. Will actually make it again when I'm looking for something a little different.
