This wasn't a favorite in my house. I didn't really care for the way these flavours went with the salmon. We did eat it all though, but I probably wouldn't be tempted to make it again.

made this recipe as is minus oregano (don't care for it) and we enjoyed it as an alternative to the usual. I don't think the vinegar was overpowering as some reviewers complain, but I had some stronger tasting salmon filets this time than they usually are. Tasty, but I might not make again. Nothing "wow"ing.

Very easy to make and tastes like it took hours! Definitely a dish to make for company. Great way to jazz up a staple fish in our diet.

This dish was a nice surprise! Usually I cook salmon simply, with lemon and dill, etc. The balsamic glaze was the perfect mixture... all ingredients were nicely balanced and the fish tasted surprisingly good!

Pretty good. I read the reviews, which are always helpful. I didn't marinate the salmon. The sauce did smell funny cooking (very strong), but not to worry it tasted great. Next time I would coat all the filets in the sauce better, doing this also a few times during baking.

I made this exactly as described. The sauce had a great tangy-sweet flavor and worked well with the salmon. Will make again!

We just thought this was okay--something was over-powering about the flavor. I liked the pecan crusted salmon recipe on this site better.

Excellent flavor. I substituted lemon juice for the wine since I didn't have any wine and it didn't affect the flavor adversely. Will definitely use this one again.

This was quite good. I love salmon and this was a nice change from how I usually prepare it. The sauce did smell really strong of vinegar when it was simmering, however it wasn't too overpowering on the fish. It had a nice balance of flavors and complimented the salmon very well.

This was a delicious recipe. I followed it exactly, and I liked it, but the vinegar was just a tad bit over powering. So, the next time I will cut back on it just a tad. I will be making this regularly. Thank you for sharing!!

This was absolutely delicious. The only thing we changed is that we added more wine and squeezed a lime over the salmon while i was eating it. My husband loved this recipe.

Our Family Loves this Salmon dish. It is very flavorful. It is also great for those who don't think they like fish. We eat this one atleast once a month. I make it just as the recipe calls. The flavors work very well together.

Very tasty! Here in the pacific northwest we cook salmon frequently, and this makes a very nice variation to the line up. Highly recommend, we'll be adding this to our keepers!! Thanks!

When reducing the balsamic vinegar , it did give out a strong smell. Didn't have a bottle of white wine open so substituted for beer, also didn't use the oregano and it turned out delicious.

I read that others thought this didn't smell good while it was cooking. I sort of know what they mean, but when you reduce the glaze, it gets really thick and syrupy and concentrated so maybe that's why. But when you glaze the salmon and then bake it, it's truly amazing. My entire family loved it and now they call this recipe "Slammin" instead of "Salmon". I have made several salmon recipes on this site, but keep coming back to this one. Try it!!
