Baked Potato Soup IV

This is a hearty potato soup that tastes like a creamy baked potato. I invented it to please a picky vegetarian daughter who pronounced it 'delicious'. Garnish with chives, shredded cheese or dried dill. Serve with a bread (flour tortillas, pita bread, sourdough or cornbread) and a salad or fruit.

This potato soup is perfect for the slow cooker. If you want to make it cheesy, blend in 1/4 pound of processed cheese food before serving.

A delicious soup that makes a meal with some nice fresh bread! Homey and comforting! Try adding shredded Cheddar cheese just before serving.

Yes, another potato soup! This version has plenty of bacon with the addition of sweet healthiness of grated carrots.

This is a base soup. You can eat it as is, or customize it by adding bacon, celery, onions, carrots, or whatever you like. Nondairy creamer is my choice, but you can use light cream or canned milk. Do not use red potatoes to make this soup.
