Very Good! Great Weekend Meal. Took a little long to prepare I would not do it on a week night.

This is a carbon copy to a local Italian eatery here in the city. I have tried many times to match the flavor and look of their dish but was unsuccessful until now! Thank you...10 times over!

This is so yummy. I especially like the sour cream addition. I followed this recipe to the letter, which I don't always do, and it was great. A real family pleaser.

I made some changes to suit our tastes - which is why it gets 4 stars. I scaled this for 6 servings since it's just 2 of us. I used about 12 oz of pasta for a 9*13 pan and it still seemed like not enough. Instead of cottage cheese and sour cream (DH hates s. cream for some reason) I used light ricotta and mixed all of the cooked pasta into that with some extra garlic and basil (we love garlic). I used my own meat sauce that I had frozen leftover from the last time I made a big batch, and it turned out great. Will definitely make again with my modifications.

A great recipe to throw together & incredibly easy to make as well. I only use ground beef in mine, but that is my personal preference. I also substitute ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese.

Delicious! We all loved this! It does have a pretty strong rosemary flavor. Next time, I will probably reduce rosemary to half and add basil and oregano. It makes a ton! I baked all of it and then froze about half of it.

Deliciously rich and one of those meals you make once or twice a year. I used my own sauce and Shop Rite brand sausage b/c I like it the best. A real comfort food that is not your traditional baked ziti. Thanks for sharing!

I make this all the time and usually give it to friends & family after they have a baby or just need a night off. This is really easy to split into two 8x8 pans.

I have made this ZITI for family and a group meeting. Both times it got rave reviews. It is also easier than lasagne to throw together. My tweaks: Use a good store bought marinara sauce. For vegetarians and heart healthy folks: sautee garlic, onion, rosemary together, and to that add well chopped carrots (about 1/3-1/2 cup or more) to add body. Sautee in some olive oil till onion and garlic carmelized. Also use low fat sour cream. I did both versions for a meeting because a few folks were avowed vegetarians. I doubled the recipe, and simply split the onion/garlic sautee between the meat and vege versions, and added the marinara to both and then put two ziti casseroles together. Some may say cover to avoid drying, but I kinda like the crusty parts. Enjoy!

This is a great recipe for large groups. I've made it several times already while changing an ingredient or two each time. Try replacing the cottage cheese with ricotta, and sweet Italian sausage or ground turkey for the ground beef. If using ground turkey, added salt, pepper, garlic, basil, & oregano. To help decrease the calories and fat even further, I used low-fat ingredients (cheeses, etc) and it still tasted great. I also tried different jarred spaghetti sauces and the best one was Paul Newman's Sookarooni. My 2 picky boys even enjoy this meal, which is a testimony in itself!

Brought to a family gathering and it was a hit! I used all of the additional ingredients and substitutes listed by Dec.8,2003 reviewer which included substituting the ricotta for the cottage cheese and adding the basil and oregano. Keep in mind, if you double the recipe from 12 to 24 you need 2 9x13 baking pans!!!! Duh, I followed the instructions to the letter which didn't list more than 1 pan!!!! Also, if you are preparing for a party of 24 guests, ONE pan serving 12 is more than enough!!!!
