This is the best baked Ziti recipe I have tried. I made it Christmas eve and it was a hit with our entire family. And it was so easy to make. Thanks!

I've made this for my boyfriend twice and he is a Very picky eater. His words were "you will continue to make this right?" So am diffently keeping this one for the books. For me I do the pasta al dente and have to use a 4 qt roasting pan for the full recipe. Makes for some great lunches for the week. Enjoy

I used a sausage and beef mixture. Added more cheese and followed the advice of other reviewers about the sour cream and mixing it in with thte pasta. Good tasting and husband really liked it.

My husband says this is the best ziti he's ever had. That's quite a complement considering his grandparents were immigrants from Italy. I love this recipe and it's so easy to make I cook it at least once every couple of weeks. One note is that it fills a 3qt dish completely full so if you are using the original serving sizes I would use a slightly larger dish or scale it down a bit.

This was absolutely delicious! Makes a full 3 quart pan, almost overflowing. I added a can of sliced mushrooms. I also used more cheese than it called for. Cheese is never a bad thing! I took another reviewer's suggestion and tossed the pasta with the sour cream prior to layering. I think this is a must because it made the dish creamy and nice. I did use the 2 jars of sauce, but looking back, I think it would have been better with more like 1 or 1.5 jars. There was a bit much sauce. I baked it for exactly the time called for and the top was nice and golden. It was so good!

Tastes wonderful! I used heavy whipping cream instead of sour cream because that's what I had on hand. It made for a nice tomato-cream sauce. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Great recipe, I love fresh Basil. This makes well over the serving suggestion. There are 5 of us and I could still cut the recipe in half and have some leftovers. Served with a salad and garlic bread for the perfect easy pleasey cold weather meal.

I've made this twice. The first time as the recipe listed and the second time with a few tweaks. With the tweaks it was definitely a 5, but as is, it's a 4. Mixed the sour cream with the noodles as others have done and I mixed Italian sausage with the ground beef.

The only change I made was that I used an Italian Cheese blend throughout. Tasted great and the kids LOVED it! Made w/ Mama Rita's Garlic Bread recipe from this site. YUM!

I thought this was really good. Few changes i made, i tossed the pasta w/ the sour cream, and i fried the hamburger and onion together all at once as opposed to cooking the hamburger and then the onion and i also seasoned the meat w/ some garlic salt.

Very yummy recipe. I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and light sour cream to make a little healthier.. very good. Also, I took the previous suggestion to toss the ziti noodles in sour cream before layering and used a bit more cheese. Definitely need a 3-quart baking dish or larger; mine barely fit into the 3-quart dish. My boyfriend really liked this dish and we had lots of leftovers. Will definitely make again.

I give this five stars because it is exceptionally easy and feeds so many so cheaply. I can even sautee some veggies and sneak them in a corner for myself with no ground beef (section it off w/ a little tinfoil). As an only vegetarian it's very nice to be able to have the same as everyone else with only a little extra work. Also, I have to mention my fiance LOVES this. He begs for it, likes it almost as much as lasagna and I can make it in half the time! It even freezes well. As far as practicality, price and ease go, it's definetly five stars and six if you factor in my guys happiness ;) Thank you!

Delicious! I followed the recipe without any alterations the first time and it was okay but SO much better the second time when I followed the suggestions to add the sour cream to the ziti. It was so rich and creamy. I probably added just a bit more sour cream and cheese than it asked for too.
