YUM YUM YUM - I made it with Ground Turkey (since we don't eat red meat) and it was amazing! My kids request it once a week now!

I was surprised that this was so good. I'm not a big pasta fan but I will make this again. I didn't use jar sauce..I used the Best Marinara Sauce Yet from this site. This is a keeper:)

Awesome recipe with so much room for variation! I have used different pastas, cheeses and ground meats (depending on what was on hand or left over) without disappointment. I also substituted cream cheese with a little milk (to thin) instead of sour cream and it was so creamy and yummy! Easy and variable and everyone loves!

I used Rigatoni noodles; I spread meat sauce on bottom, then noodles, sour cream, cheese, meat sauce, cheese. It was sooooo good!

My husband loved this recipe! I incorporated several other reviewer's suggestions (tossing ziti with sour cream, seasoning the meat with Italian seasoning, added a little pepperoni) and sprinkled some Creole Seasoning in with the meat. I used shredded mozzarella instead of sliced. Very good! I baked half of it and put the other half in the freezer to use later. Yum!

I used 1/2lb Hot Italian Sausage and 1/2lb ground chuck. It was fantastic. I also threw in 2 cloves fresh garlic to the sauce mixture. Otherwise this is restaurant quality.

This is a delicious recipe that my family loves! The only thing I did different was leave out the onion as my family doesn't care for them. So cheesy and delicious! Leftovers are just as good. If you love cheese, like I do, this recipe is perfect for you!

This was amazing!! I'm giving 5 stars even though I changed some methods per reviews. I mixed the sour cream with the noodles 1st and LOVED how that turned out. I'm so happy not to have to use expensive riccotta or sub cottage cheese (I just don't like cottage cheese in my casseroles). I only used 1 jar of sauce, I think 2 would be overkill, besides it's cheaper. I definitely recommend the pasta/s.c. THEN sauce THEN cheese layering method. The sauce needs to touch noodle. The provalone is a must have!! My fav. jar sauce is Ragu, Sweet Italian Sausage & Cheese. Add worcestershire & garlic salt to the meat & onions, then a can of italian diced tomatoes, then sauce. YUMMY!!

This was so easy to assemble and so yummy! Very cheesy - which I love :-) I did toss the ziti with the sauce for the bottom layer but changed nothing else.

Finally, great baked ziti in our home! I don't know why it just never turns out for me, but this was really great. I subbed ricotta for half of the sour cream and always make homemade sauce & it was a cheesy, gooey, wonderful mess - just how baked ziti should be! (If you will willfully risk burning yourself on hot, bubbly cheese, you've done it right!)

Yum. Very easy and very yummy. I also followed another reviewers advice and mixed the past with the sour cream, used italian sausage instead of ground beef. Otherwise, everything was exactly as written. I filled 2-8x8 dishes to the top.

Love this recipe. I use 2 cups sour cream and I think it tastes better if you make it in a smaller but deeper pan so that each layer has enough of the flavors. If you do this though, it takes a long time to cook(could be at least an hour).

This recipe was very yummy however in my opinion 2 jars of sauce was way too much. My ziti was swimming in it. I also mixed my pasta with the sour cream as others did and that worked out perfectly. I will definately make this again but with much less sauce, maybe just one jar.

I made this for dinner tonight and it was delicious! I only bought one 26oz jar of sauce and so I was worried about it being a little dry, but it wasn't. I browned the meat and added a few herbs. Then when I added the onions I also tossed in some garlic. I mixed the pasta with most of the sour cream. Then when I was layering I added a few dollops because I was worried about it being too dry. I used a mixture of cheeses. (Quattro formaggio is a great cheese mixture from Trader Joe's!!) I also used some mozzarella and parmesan for the top. I divided the recipe into two 8x8 dishes and froze one for another night. Overall, a great recipe and very quick to throw together!

**Update** - I made this for a second time and used a 15oz carton of ricotta cheese for the sour cream, again mixed in with the pasta. Used ground turkey and added 1 t. each, italian herb and salt. Deelish!! prefer the ricotta, for sure. My husband would like me to add capers and red pepper flakes next time, but as I said before, the kids LOVE it the simple way. This was a great and easy meal. My kids (3 and 18 months)devoured their dinner - I should give 5 stars for that. I used macaroni and coated the pasta with sour cream as recommended. I used a 12oz package of shredded cheese combo from Trader Joe's and dried basil for fresh. I will make again.
