Other than halving the recipe, I made no changes and it turned out great - cheesy and saucy and delicious. My finicky 6 year old loved it too.

This came out delicious!! I read a few reviews and changed it up a little bit. I used 2 16 ounce containers of ricotta and 2 eggs. i had left over homemade marinara sauce in the freezer that i had made with hot italian sausage and used that instead of jarred sauce. it came out really good and the leftovers were even better!

This brought instant raves with everyone in the family - with their first bite. Next time we will try it with mushrooms and olives. Excellent!

Made this last night and it was very good. I ended up browning 1 lb sausage, as well as sauteeing some mushrooms with garlic. Added those into the mixture with ziti, ricotta, and mozz. Put the mixture into a pan lined w/ sauce and dumped more sauce on top. Covered with mozz and then foil and baked for 30-35 minutes. I took the foil off for an additional 10 minutes to brown the top and it was awesome. Keep in mind that if you add extras in like I did, make sure to add extra sauce as it soaks up quickly!

This was good with a few changes. I brown 1 lb ground beef and drain and cool. I only use 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. I use 2 or 3 eggs depending on how big they are. After I drain the ziti I combine with the meat and cheese mixture. I start with some sauce then the mixture and top with remaining sauce. I even add more cheese before I bake it. Spary some foil with Pam and cover before baking. I get requests for this often when we have a family gathering.

Good recipe. We added 2 lbs of regular mild breakfast sausage, which I browned before adding to the ziti/sauce mixture. Also used about 1/2 as much more sauce as the recipe called for. We all liked it.

Delicious and easy. I browned 2 lbs. ground meat with diced onion, bell pepper, salt & pepper and Italian spices, a bit of water and simmered until the water evaporated and meat was tender. Then I poured two 28 oz. cans of sauce over the meat and let that simmer while I prepared the rest of the recipe as stated. It was delicious, and I had lots of extra sauce to serve on the side. The recipe was moist enough without the extra sauce on the side, but extra sauce is always delicious, and made the leftovers more appealing.

This was very easy- but also very bland. Next time I'll add in mushrooms and different things to spice up this dish.

Fresh and easy, this recipe is delicious,I only had a little bit of riccota so i substituted it with low fat cottage cheeze and it was still delicious. I would recommend putting some seasoned pan chicken on top sliced up.

It was good... I followed the recipe exactly. I would have to say I have had better. I will make again but will make some changes to the sauce and the amount of cheese. A little too cheesey for my liking.

We loved this. I made it exactly to the recipe with the exception that I undercooked the ziti by a couple of minutes and added some Emeril's Essence seasoning. I also served it with additional sauce on the side for those who wished it (most partook). This is will be a keeper, not only in my household but in a larger meal ministry for whom this was a test run. Thanks!

I made this once following the recipe, and once following the suggestions made by PMCKAY1717. It was better PMCKAY1717's way (parsley with the ricotta, layering, not cooking the ziti all of the way).

Absolutely delicious. I made the Baked Ziti IV many times before this and will never go back. This is much simpler and much more delicious. It's also great with some ground beef and onions (brown about a pound of beef with 1/4 to a 1/2 of an onion, drain. Then add the sauce to it--I used about 45 oz. instead of 32 to compensate for the sauce--and simmer about 10 minutes. Follow the rest of the recipe as before.) This recipe is great as leftovers, too. I just made this without the meat, and I didn't like it quite as much. Almost TOO cheesy (that's why I gave it only 4 stars).
