Thought it could have used just a little more flavor. It was definitely better the next day. I think it had time to soak up the taste. I used an arrabata sauce the second time I made it and it gave it that little extra kick it needed! Delicious!

This is good stuff. I was concerned about it being bland as others had said but I used Ragu chunky sauce with peppers and mushrooms in it along with some fresh garlic, basil, and black pepper. This made the difference, it was yummy. I also mixed all the sauce together with all the ingredients and then topped it off with more mozzarella cheese on top. I definately make this often.

loved this recipe. I made it for a teacher appreciation luncheon at my daughter's school. There was none left. Everyone loved it. I will be making this for my family get together since I have two vegetarians and there is no meat in this dish. Meat really won't be missed.

I made this recipe just as it is listed except I only had the smaller container of ricotta. It seemed like enough, so I wasn't too concerned. The ziti looked good, but it tasted very bland. As I am the queen of adding extra seasoning, even my pre-emptive measures could not save this only average dish. We still have a hug pan of leftovers in the fridge. I would add some veggies to this--mushrooms, black olives, etc.--and definetly more sauce if I were to make it again. I wish I could have figured out what went wrong, because I like the easiness of this dish. Adding an egg really helps it all stay together. I guess I'll keep searching for the perfect ziti!

As the recipe is written, I would rate it 4 stars--it is easy (my boyfriend, who doesn't cook, said the hardest part was boiling the pasta), tastes better the next day, and is affordable for the amount of food you get (my boyfriend and I ate it for lunch for a week). I think it would be rather bland on its own, so I changed it by adding some Italian Seasoning and I used Garlic Herb chunky spaghetti sauce instead of regular spaghetti sauce, and the extra spices make it 5 stars.

Good, but needs a can of diced tomatoes or two to help cut the cheesy sauce. I also ended up with so much sauce stuff that I cooked an extra 6 oz or so of pasta to add.

Good basic recipe to build upon, I usually add a bit of basil and oregano to the cheese mixture to give it a bit more zing, and using a good pasta sauce and quality ricotta is key to the taste also.

I used whole grain pasta. Overall the flavors were nothing special. Kinda boring gooey mess.

I've made this several different ways now and found the following changes make the best results: 1) Slightly less than 16 oz of noodles - more like 14 or 15 oz. 2) Only 15 oz ricotta. 3) 28 oz crushed tomatoes + 15 oz tomato sauce with italian spices, onion powder and garlic powder for flavor. Otherwise follow as directed. Turns out so delicious and being so quick and easy it's sure to be a keeper!

Just OK, not the best I've had. If I make it again, I'll cut down on the ricotta.

It was good, but I probably won't make it again. I was expecting it to be more gooey. For our personal tastes, I think it had too much ricotta cheese in it that made the texture all wrong. I also think it needed a little more sauce and some spicing up.

I rated this a 4 because it is a good basic recipe. I made it as is, except I boiled the pasta for half the time, figuring it would cook the rest of the way in the oven. I hate overcooked pasta! This worked out perfectly. It tastes good & is cheap and easy. it feeds a lot of people. It fed a party of 11 people & some people had seconds. Plus I had enough leftovers for 1 person the next day for lunch. I will make this again, but next time, I will add more spaghetti sauce. It seemed dry and I like it a little more saucy. I will also add more spices, although I'm not sure which ones. It was relatively bland, even for me & I am always made fun of because I like things bland! I will also probably add 1/2 lb of ground turkey too

My family and I enjoyed the amount of ricotta cheese in this recipe. It really made the dish creamy. Next time, I would add garlic or garlic powder to the dish, though. I found the dish to be a bit bland. In all, my eight year old picky daughter loved this, my husband loved this, and it made enough for leftovers.
