Delicious! The only thing I changed was I added garlic powder and paprika to the flour mixture and added extra veggies just because we like our veggies. I made some rosemary red potatoes (although next time I'll make mashed potatoes) and had some crusty bread, this recipe is a keeper!

INCREDIBLE! I served it over mashed potatoes and we loved it! It's a new favorite, for sure. I did make two small changes...added garlic and used diced tomatoes instead of stewed. Thanks for the terrific recipe!

Really good recipe! I added a little garlic powder and fresh green beans because I had them but this recipe is great as is. This is a keeper and going to be added to the rotation :)

This was very good. I make Swiss steak all the time and use my electric skillet. It never seems to have enough liquid and the meat usually ends up dry. That's why I was interested in trying this. It came out very good, but perhaps left it in a little too long. I forgot to watch the clock and it cooked an hour and 45 mins, and was a little dry. My fault, but I will make this again and see if decreasing the cooking time makes a difference. I served this over plain white rice with green beans.

I've been looking for a good swiss steak recipe and finally found one!! I've made it twice within a month! The first time I didnt have celery or carrots so I used bell peppers and onion which turned out great. The 2nd time I made it I doubled the recipe. Everyone loved it!! Thanks for a great recipe!!!!!!!!

This recipe is excellent! I think that those who gave it a lower rating aren't familiar with Swiss Steak and were looking for something different.

I guess I just don't find swiss steak appealing, but my husband thought it was awesome! I probably tripled the Worch. The smallest cut of meat I could get was 1# so I doubled the recipe. Tonight, with the addition of Mexican spices, we are making burritos.

Top notch. I followed everything but added garlic like one other review suggested and probably tripled the Worcestershire sauce because I really love that flavor but it would have gotten a five regardless. Meet was perfectly flavored and tender. The sauce was awesome on mashed potatoes. Bravo!

Followed the recipe and then took the suggestion of other reviewers and added: cayenne pepper, paprika, green pepper, beef stock and more worcestershire sauce. Still lacked a little something but the meat was so tender you could cut it with a fork. Served over rice.

This was very good! I did change a couple of things to my liking though: I added fresh garlic and used diced tomatoes instead of stewed. I also used mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar. Anyway, it was delicious, the meat was very tender and I released quite a lot of stress from work while pounding the steaks down to the 1/4" thickness! :)

I substituted cube steak and the meat was so tender. This recipe is the best I have been able to find for Swiss Steak in a long time. Tastes just like I used to order in a restaurant back home. The whole family loved it...there were no leftovers. :(
