I loved this and so did my family! They all called it Spasagna cause it looked like a mix of spaghetti and lasagna. I read a ton of comments saying not to use the cottage cheese, but I used it anyway, and it was fabulous. Only changes I made were to use whole grain noodles, and low fat cottage cheese. Served with whole grain garlic bread. Perfect.

The best baked spaghetti and my whole family's favorite. You can also make many variations with it using different noodles. I only use 2 cups of cheese and it is still very cheesy and good.

This was pretty good. I used half Italian sausage and half beef and added minced garlic to the meat mixture. I also put in some sauted mushrooms. Easy to assemble and tasted good.

This was good except it was too dry for us. I had some left over so the next day, I added more spaghetti sauce right on top and kind of poked through the casserole so the sauce would go down into it. I covered it and baked it again at 325 and it tasted better than the first day I made it.

I have made this a few times and decided to sit down and write the review. We live in China so sometimes the ingredients are hard to come by. I substituted cream cheese for the cottage cheese and it turned out great. The cream cheese we find here is imported and not nearly as good as what I could get in the states but it did the job well enough. this recipe received a WOW from my husband and kids...they really enjoyed this twist on the average spaghetti. i really think the cream cheese or cottage cheese makes it have a nice creamy taste. This is a nice recipe for me to throw together and we all ate it until it was gone. Thanks for the recipe!

Super Easy; I used reduced fat sausage instead of ground beef for a little zing and it was a huge hit!

I think this recipe is very good. I was impressed. The only thing I would change is to use less noodles so it's a bit saucier. I made according to recipe (cut down to 5 servings). The only thing I changed was instead of melted butter, I used olive oil (a bit healthier) and it came out great.

This was okay, but certainly a good start of something wonderful! Needs more veggies ie bell peppers, or something. Pretty dry and bland in my opinion. I used sour cream instead of the cottage cheese, but that was my only substitution.

Excellent recipe. Definitely a keeper. I used low fat sour cream instead of cottage cheese and I cut down to 4 TBS of margarine. My husband loved this recipe and my kids did too.

This recipe is perfect! I loved it, my boyfriend loved it and so did my friend. My boyfriend is picky and doesn't really like speghetti, but he loved this. All the cheese makes it perfect! The only changes I made was adding fresh garlic and seasoned the beef while cooking it. It is so easy and very yummy and the left overs are great; which is great because I can bring the leftovers for lunch all week long and not have to worry about what I am going to have for lunch! Amazing recipe, 5 stars!

Didn't change much (more sauce, extra cheese), but our family didn't think this was anything special from regular stovetop spaghetti. You could make this on the stovetop without drying it out in the oven heat (even though I added more sauce), which is what I think did this recipe in for us. This would be great made on the stove leaving out a few ingredients (like the eggs). The oven is not needed, in my humble opinion. So made on the stove, I would rate this a good four stars, but in the oven, I would give it two. So I give it three stars overall. Others seem to like it, so it's worth trying! :)

I made this one tonight. It was very easy and the taste was great! I am not a fan of ziti and was very pleasantly surprised with this dish. Not too cheesy, just enough meat sauce. I will be making this one again. Thanks.

This was a wonderful recipe! There was SO much food to begin with, it would not all fit in a 13x9x2 pan! I had to separate it out into two! I will DEFINITELY make this again...for a pitch-in or family gathering or something. It is very simple and very tasty!

I have to give this a 5 star, even though I didn't have the right cheese (I used sharp cheddar & fresh parmesan) and only had about half enough cottage cheese. It still turned out wonderful. I like a little more sauce so next time I'll use more sauce. I used Barillia Angel Hair pasta instead of spaghetti. But it is definately going to be a main stay in our home. Served with Coles garlic bread.

This was tasty- a hit with the whole family, which hardly every happens. Only a few substitutions to work with what I had: cheddar, not mozzarella, onion powder instead of diced onion, and I didn't have cottage cheese so I softened some cream cheese and combined it with the shredded cheese. I layered the noodles, then smooshed on the cream cheese, then the meaty sauce and sprinkled the top with some more shredded cheese. Mmmm, cream cheesey noodles... ahhhghgh (Homer Simpson donut noise) Thanks for the recipe!
