This was a big hit at my house. I didn't have mushrooms so I left them out and I also added another can of cream of mushroom soup. I mixed all the ingredients together like some suggested and it turned out perfect. Leftovers were not a problem, because there were none:) Will certainly use this recipe again!

my family gave this recipe 3 stars, i would have given it 4 but sorry, majority rules. this recipe sounded so interesting i just HAD to try it. it was quite simple to prepare and the end result was nice but it really could stood to have more flavor. i'll probably make it again as i love the cream of mushroom element. i think next time i make it i'll use at least 1/2 lb. more meat, add some minced garlic and garlic salt & pepper when browning the meat onions and peppers and add another can of cream of mushroom soup to the top the first layer. thank you for sharing this recipe! NOTE: if your pan fills to the top - it WILL drip out so put a larger pan or cookie sheet lined with foil under it.

Not fancy schmancy but a nice, filling, quick and easy weeknight meal. Everyone (husband, 8, 6, 4 year olds) ate it willingly so that's always a plus. I made it almost just as written (minus the green pepper - didn't have one, and substituted 1/4 cups mayo and sour cream for the cream of mush soup). It wasn't dinner party quality but a definate keeper for the "have-ground-beef-but-don't-know-what-to-do-with-it" night.

This wasn't very good to me. A lot of the ingredients are what I've been using for regular spaghetti for years, so I thought I would try it. For the longest I stood in the kitchen debating on whether or not to use the cream of mushroom soup. I decided what the heck and try it out. It was not very good. Also this recipe did not have very much flavor at all. Don't think I will try this again.

Very good! I just mixed everything in a big bowl before placing in a baking dish. It was much easier than layering everything. Everyone was pleased with how this turned out.

This was good. I can't give it five stars because I did change some things. I really wanted more of a tomato sauce so I added a 19 oz. can of italian stewed tomatoes and a 14 oz. can of tomato sauce. I added fresh mushrooms and a little of my own seasonings. I mixed the mushroom soup with skim milk instead of water. I also left the last layer of cheese for the very top so that it would be a nice golden brown crust. I would definitely make this again.

Pretty good. I added garlic and salt to the meat. Next time I will not layer the food. I will mix everything together and slap it in the pan, top with parmesan then cook. Got too many spoonfuls of plain noodles. Hope these suggestion help.

This is a wonderfully rich recipe. I did not have all the ingredients so I improvised a little and made a couple of changes. I did not have sour cream available so for the filling layer I used 1 8 oz block of cream cheese, a spoonful of whipped cream cheese, 1/4 cup evaporated milk and 1/4 cup Ranch Dressing. I mixed this all together and added about 1/4 cup shredded mozzerella cheese. I didn't have chedder cheese for the top so I shredded 2 cups of mozzerella and about 1/4 cup colby cheeses. I also changed one other thing after reading the reviews about it being dry. I used 2 full cans of spaghetti sauce and added 2 tablespoons sugar to the sauce (It ends the "canny" flavor. I poured 2 ladle fulls of sauce onto the bottom of my 9x13 pan, added 1/2 of the spaghetti, 2 more ladle fulls of sauce, the rest of the spaghetti (I used 1 lb) and then spead the filling on top, followed by the rest of the sauce and the huge layer of cheeses. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!

Great recipe, I added an extra can of mushroom soup just to make it a bit creamier. Other than that I didn't change a thing and it was great. Even my very picky 6 year old cleaned her plate.

I followed this recipe almost exactly the way it was written. The only variation I did was I used Italian seasoned diced tomatoes. Even my picky daughter ate this up. I think this is an excellent recipe.
