The prep time on this dish was 5-10 mins at the most. And the salmon came out moist, flaky and flavorful. Served alongside some steamed veggies and the meal was filling and healthy! DELICIOUS....

I was sceptical as I usually only make salmon with a honey soy glaze b/c that is what the family likes and requests. I wasn't sure how the mustard would taste but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. What I did in order to mellow the mustard was to subsitute the dijon with a honey dijon as some of the other reviews suggested. It wasn't too sweet and blended nicely. The entire family loved it. Now I do not have young children they are late teens/young adults. I don't think I would have tried this recipe in earlier days. This is a keeper.

Great salmon recipe especially for people who think salmon is too fishy tasting. I used panko crumbs and mixed with a little olive oil for the topping.

This salmon is soooo good. I've made it twice now and great both times. I took one readers advise and added the bread crumbs to the melted butter to make a paste of sorts.

This was pretty good. I like that it uses ingredients that I have in the pantry :) I just noticed that it calls for italian style breadcrumbs though...mine was a little bland, that's probably why.

used panko crumbs and melted the butter and added the crumbs to the melted buter...then layered on top of the mustard...it was a big hit and I loved the crunchy top layer!

Five stars for ease, flavor, clean-up & presentation! The dijon mustard adds just the right flavor & depth to the salmon fillets & the top crust of bread crumbs looks beautiful. I also used the tip from another reviewer & stirred the bread crumbs into the melted butter before spreading on the salmon. My mother (not much of a salmon-lover) really enjoyed it, as did my husband & I. Served w/ a white burgandy wine. Final tip: make sure you are starting with a lovely, fresh salmon fillet. Salmon is one of those meats that, in my opinion, must really be as fresh as possible to keep down the fishy taste.

This was so easy to make and really good. My boyfriend loved it because it was flavorful without being too overwhelming on the spices. I made it again for a girlfriend of mine and had the same results. I served it will a rice and green beans with a touch of butter and Herbes de Provence. I would really recommend it.

This is one of my favorite ways to prepare salmon. Here is a variation I like to do (all measurements are approximate!) for two salmon fillets: in a small bowl, mix 1 tb melted butter, 1 tb dijon mustard, 1 tb honey, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 tb breadcrumbs. Spread a thin layer over the salmon (the thinner you make the sauce, the more you can taste the salmon, of course). Top with diced pecans, and bake 15-20 min at 400. Serve with cous-cous and veggies.

I suggest using this with thick fillets. If they are narrow then the Dijon overpowers the salmon.

Very interesting way to prepare salmon. We tried using honey dijon instead of regular dijon and the sweetness complimented the salmon well. We also excluded the butter topping, which made it healthier. It was quick and easy to prepare. Would recommend this recipe to others!

This was just okay for us. For some reason the breadcrumbs gave it a sweet taste, so if I make this again I may use panko bread crumbs or crushed butter crackers. I didn't get much taste from the mustard either, so I'd probably use more of it. Haven't decided yet if I want to try this with the changes yet, so we'll see.
