This was okay. The chicken really didn't hold the lemon flavor, even though I used extra juice and put the lemon slices on top. The mushroom sauce was good, might be more flavorful if we add more spices next time. Husband liked it, which is always a plus. Will probably make again with some experimentation.

Very good & super easy. I used twice as much lemon juice and added some poultry seasoning and Cajun seasoning too - let breasts marinate in this about an hour before I baked them. Sauted 3 cloves garlic with mushrooms, and added the whole can of chicken broth, plus some red pepper flakes, 1/4 c lemon juice and a splash of white wine. After it thickened, I put the baked chicken in the sauce to warm and simmer for about 10 min. Served all over white rice. Nice change from the norm.

This recipe is worth making for the mushroom sauce alone .... I am not usually a fan of mushrooms but it this sauce is wonderful.

I got this recipe from the new cookbook. I wish I would have read the suggestions before trying it. My husband asked that I not make it again and he usually likes to try new dishes. It was very bland. I may try it again adding garlic (lots) and increasing the lemon and parsley. It has potential - but as written it did not have enough flavor for our family.

This recipe was quite easy to make. I tweaked it just a little: I sprinkled the chicken with about 2 teaspoons of dried oregano before adding the lemon juice and I crushed four cloves of garlic into the melted butter before sauteing the mushrooms. (This was for an adjusted recipe for 6 servings.) Served it with rice, spinach and garlic bread. My family loved it! Next time, I'm going to make more of the mushroom sauce, though, because they couldn't get enough of it.

Very good recipe! I doubled the sauce as suggested to put on top of egg noodles and it made plenty for leftovers. I also added a touch of white wine but that was the only change. I thought the lemon flavor was just right as written. My husband loved it because of the strong mushroom flavor. Very simple to make and will be something I make again. Thanks!

This was easy. I rated it a 4 because I think the recipe has potential. I increased broth to 1 cup, added 1/2 cup white wine and 4 garlic cloves. It was good but I felt it lacked flavor. I am going to keep playing around with it.

This chicken was fantastic! The lemon flavor was just right. I did add the juice of 1/2 lemon to the sauce, but it just enhanced the lemon flavor. It turned out to be one of my husband's favorite chicken recipes. This is a keeper.

This was so good! The mushroom sauce was unbelievable! We used it as a sauce for rice as well as the chicken and it was wonderful. The sauce would be great on beef as well. The chicken was a little too lemony for me, so next time I will use the sauce on seasoned baked chicken instead.

This recipe came out looking great. Contrary to some of the other reviewers my chicken did brown - and I did add more lemon like some of the others said too - the chicken came out really lemony and the combination with the mushroom sauce was superb - The mushroom sauce was excellent! I served it over rice and will definately make it again. The reason why I gave this recipe 4 stars was because the chicken could use a bit more pizzaz - maybe someone could come up with something - perhaps honey and mustard?

This recipe was not as good as it sounded. I served it over egg noodles, and I thought the lemon flavor in the chicken was good, but the mushroom sauce was bland. It might be better with the addition of onions and/or garlic. As the recipe is now, I probably would not make it again.

The chicken was good, but the mushroom gravy was HEAVENLY! I think I'll be making just the mushroom sauce sometime to use with something else. The contrast of the lemon and the mushroom is a good idea.
